What type of things do you sell on Ebay? I started to sell some of my clothes and they wanted my checking account number, which I was hesitant to do. So, I called my banker and asked her to open me a minimum account so if I get ripped off it will only be for so much. I hate giving that kind of info on line.

All of my days vary. Like today, I had a 1/2 house salad and soup for lunch, then a large salad with tuna for dinner and that was my food for today. But, yesterday, I had a large chicken salad at Cracker Barrell, then some soy chips for munching, then large salad for dinner. Every now and then I'll do a Zone bar for breakfast, but not often, breakfast is so hard to start doing.

Some say it's due to not enough protein, others say it's related to being put to sleep, that about 6 months down the road the hair starts to fall out, but only for a short time.

Moonie, welcome to LBT. I was self pay and still had to be postponed a month after I was supposed to be banded. I was so upset and disappointed, it's hard to believe, but next month will be a year. Life is Good!

Hello everyone, I just got through splurging on myself, I got a facial, my first ever! It was so awesome, my 55 year old skin feels like a baby's butt, and I got my brows waxed. I deserved the treat, I've been married to the same man for 37 years today, can you believe it. Heck, a medal is what I deserve. Though the beach was lovely, and the weather was perfect, there's no place like home. I'm just an old homebody. Last night I did some rock fishing off my pier, the full moon was absolutely beautiful. Eileen, don't you love those trick questions on the drivers license application/renewals, "hair color", like when???? Cindy, you're so cute with your new avatar. Betty, I don't know how you survived, to lose both parents in that time frame. I lost my dad, my bestest friend in the whole world five years ago, I still miss him as much today as the day he left this world. I know it's silly, but I love full moon's cause I always feel my dad's in that moon looking down on me. Beanie, you've got to get approved, don't give up. Oh yeah, since this is such a small group here, I took two ducolax and lost 2.5 lbs, yep, I was full of chit. LMAO. Patty, I kept my 2yr old grandson today, OMG, they're so fast as we (I), get older, he was into everything today. I should have lost another 2.5 lbs, LOL.

Welcome to bandland & LBT. After my surgery, I was two weeks liquids, two weeks mushies, then onto food, but not every doctor has the same schedule. It's normal to be hungry, you don't have a fill yet, if so, it's ever so slight, some doctors are leaving a slight fill after surgery. I wish you the best.

She went through so much and the guilt she started feeling for not being with her son was sad too. My thoughts are with her family.

I had to laugh, it sounded as if I should have made this thread. I recently discovered the same thing, that my cholesterol was up. I figured I'd be way down due to the weight loss, but apparently not. I got aggrivated during my last visit, after waiting over an hour and left, without seeing the doctor. Now I've got to suck it up and make another appointment.

After my research, I literally could not find a doctor fast enough. Then when I did find a doctor in my area, I was his first lapband patient, scared....NOT. The surgery could not happen soon enough for me either. Go for it!!!! Oh yeah, I love my band!

Helllooo, that surgeon is working for you, whether you paid cash or your insurance and his hired help needs to speak to you with respect and it's up to you to get it straight with the doctor OR his office manager and let them deal with it. Two weeks ago, my PCP's office left me sitting in the waiting room 45 minutes, then moved me to a room and I told the nurse if the doctor's no in there in 10 minutes, "I'm outta here", 10 minutes later, I walked out. The nurse has called and left two messages and apologized, I might call them back and I might find another doctor. You deserve respect, demand it, gettem!

NO, NOT DOUBLE DIPPING, I won't eat after anyone who double dips, well except for the grandsons, I mean anyone. That was rude and disgusting, ERRRRR!

Well, since you brought it up, what are your favorite VHS/DVD's to work out too. Do you find yoga, pilates, Richard Simmons tapes, or what works best for you? I have an exercise room with one wall that is all mirrors, I really should be using it. Thanks for the motivation.

My new wardrobe consists of one of those sweater sets. Ya know the one with the sleeveless, high neck, then the matching cardigan over top. I wear it with my new size 14 jeans and my new heeled boots, makes my 5'2" look like at least 5'4. Can't believe how much smaller a pair of heeled shoes/boots makes you look and feel. I also got another sweater set, baby blue with sequins, HOT, LOL. Dress Barn has a lot of these sweater sets, never thought I could get these big boobs in a sweater set, so give that a try, you may be surprised like I was.
