Had mine fixed during band placement too.

Gee, that could be an answer for lots of us. Maybe that's why my synthroid's not doing much for me. You've been through so much, yet your patience are better than I could ever imagine. Take care!

Yep, I saw a post from her in b4 & after, I even pulled an old picture because her puter had crashed and posted it for her. Don't think she's been back on since I did that.

Overnight, surgery Monday, 7:30AM, checkout Tuesday, AM, right after barium swallow test. I wish I'd been discharged the same day, those leg balloons were a pain in the ash, everytime I wanted to get up I had to unshackle myself.

That is so cute, I got 2 whole BUNt cakes, one on each side, LOL.
-
I'm telling, LOL. Congratulations, I remember how happy I was when I was given a surgery date. Good luck!

How often do you check your progress?
HarleyNana replied to sleepyjean's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
In the beginning I weighed every other day, now, a year later, maybe every other week. -
I was a size 10 for a day, I think it was a couple of years after I was born, LOL. No actually, in 1980, I lost 50 lbs, got down to 125, truly for a day, then never hit it again. I'd be happy as a senior citizen 12.

Congratulations and I wish you the best on your band journey. -
:clap2: :clap2: CONGRATULATIONS BETTY:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: You're the bomb girl. Lets see the way I figure it, you were banded two months before me, so I only have about 40 lbs to lose in the next two months to catch up, LMAO, ROFLMAO, INSAINLY LOL.:clap2: :clap2:

These are not fishy, preband I tried those fish pills, OMGsh they were disgusting. The cod liver oil doesn't have any taste, and you could probably get it in liquid form, just never thought about it. When ever I take meds I always drink at least 1/2 bottle of water to wash em down, room temp water too, otherwise I get a head rush with cold water.

I've taken enough of all those diet pills in my lifetime I should be trying to put weight on, LOL. I took xenical, and all it did was make me regular for once in my life. The only thing diet pills ever did for me was make me "maintain" the current weight I was at. I did see on television the other night there are suppose to be several new pills hit the market this year????

Maybe she'll want to see your "tatoos", just kidding with you, LOL. I think it is soooo very special you're taking your mom AND mom n law. Sounds like they're lucky to have you. I hope you have a great time.

Start taking Cod Liveroil gel tablets, I've been taking them for years and I couldn't tell you the last time I had a cold. Also that low carb oj is good too, that's what I use when I make screwdrivers, helps me stay well too, hehehe.

Hey do eggs swell? I was eating some scrambled eggs at IHOP this am and was fine with my pancake until I took a bite of that egg.

My DH said he was sick today, I came home from a day shopping and getting new nails to a sink full of dishes. I told him for somebody sick he sure did make a mess. I got by without having to take care of him because he had too many beers last night, so I just blamed his throwing up on beers, so he suffered alone today. He kept telling me I sure made a day of it, like yeah, I want to hang around and listen to you barf and complain, LOL. Most men are just born slobs, IMO, my DH was gone all last week to Fla playing golf and my house stayed clean, two days home and what a mess, talk about laundry, his full weeks worth, :angry , dumped right in my bathroom in front of the washer. Best thing I ever did was put the washer and dryer in my bathroom. DH has his OWN bathroom. No more toilet seat problems for me, or ring around the tub to clean. At 55, I'm pretty awful, if he leaves a ring in it, then he either cleans it out or he bathes in it, LOL. Needless to say, he learned how to use one of those tub brushes. Also, if he puts his undershirts in the laundry inside out, that's the way they go back in his drawer.

If you do a home equity line/loan, then you could deduct the interest from your taxes, BUT, only do it if you're sure you can afford the payments, you certainly don't want to lose your home.

Do You Get Stomach Pain? PB's ? Need your input.
HarleyNana replied to Ceira's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I agree with Michelle, preband I wouldn't believe you had to eat to lose weight, now I'm a believer, just make the right choices. Wish ya the best. -
Awww. are't you just a doll baby! You're just as cute as a can be. It is so much easier to gain 50 than lose 50 for sure, I wish you the best. You need to change your name to doll baby.

Yeah, where is our Cindy? Woohoo Cindy where are you? Eileen and Betty, I got measured recently too, seems my girls need more pasture . Of course I've never figured out how they seem to think they've made the correct measurement, think about it, they measure you with the WRONG size bra on, hellleww. Sherry, I'm gonna find that picture yet, why don't you post it here for me and save me some time, LOL.

Teresa, Vera took the words right out of my mouth, what I notice the most is how happy the two of you look. Your man looks so in love with you. You go girl! Oh yeah, I remember those other pictures, what a difference! -
You tip every day? I always tip at the end, duh me, like she's gonna remember me 10 years from now. How much do you usually leave each day?

Kim, what ever you do, take the bike safety course. I'd never driven on a motorized anything until I took the course. My DH had my bike lowered 2" so I could reach the ground, and I always wear my Harley boots, because they have a special tread on the bottom to keep you from slipping and sliding when you put your feet down. I have small hands, so he also had the "easy" grip clutch installed, it has hydraulics. I started on the three wheeler, then had a Honda Rebel, a smaller, light weight bike, then three weeks later, got the HD Springer. The heavier bike is much easier to handle and make turns, but a heck of a lot harder to pick it up if you lay it over.

My longest pb was from a tiny bite of one of thos golden tiny pretzel rounds. Bad thing is I was riding in the car with someone and couldn't just pull over, and the longer you hold it the bigger it grows. I tried that once, taking a drink to wash down the stuck item, OMG, did I learn really fast to never do that again. Maybe a tiny, tiny, tiny sip, but never a big drink.
