Good Morning, Sherry, you'll be feeling better as the day goes on. The more you walk the better you'll feel. Don't forget to use that "blow" machine, LOL. For all you buffet folks, I used my WLS card at Golden Corral, everyone else paid like $10.00, I paid 5 and some change. The receipt said stomach stapled, LOL. Betty the flowers are absolutely beautiful, I wish I could grow them here, then again maybe I can??? Do they just bloom once and how long does it bloom? Cindy, "narcissus", I thought that's what my son was called, LMAO, maybe that's a different spelling. Eileen, how was that puter class? Check you all later.

What timing, my gson stuck a red Tictac up his nose Sunday, he's two. He went running to his mom and pointing to his nose saying it hurt. He was telling me on the phone about his ordeal and I asked him how'd he get it out and he said, "I sneeze Nana", poor little thing, I bet that Cinnamon burned.

Anne, how in the heck did you knock the car that far and not do damage, my luck, I would have totaled their vehicle and had to buy them a new one, LOL. My son's getting ready to give MM a try. Don't apologize for having maid service, when the kids were at home, I had a girl that came every Tues and Friday, now it's just Friday. I always run around an clean before she gets here, get the laundry done, beds stripped, toilets wiped off, my DH laughs and says for me to keep going I could save $$$ every week. Love those Zone bars, although, don't do well with the morning bar, after 12, no problem. Wal-mart seems to have the best price on those, although Sams and Costco sells them too. Zan your snow looks so pretty on tv here, Central Park, WOW. Eileen, if you don't get restriction soon, get some more fill and make sure he takes out what he's put in to be sure it's still there. That's very odd not to have any restr with the first fill. Although, my doctor missed my port with my first fill. Here I was taking these itty bitty bites, being really careful, then I went to a support group meeting, (that's another whole story) and he told me he did a fill after mine and that he could feel the needle go into the port, so I had to schedule for a real fill. As for the "support" meeting, it was all bypass people. Eileen, eat more protein instead of veggies, that may help. Have a great day, gotta get the skunk stripes out of my hair today, maybe I should go red, for Valentines, LOL. Beanie, I like the bracelet, and your ring looks like mine, I think you can see it on the pic with the gson. Oh Betty where are you, are you hiding with Cindy? HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, HUGS TO ALL!

Betty funny you mentioned the OMG, what the .... have I done, I remember that hit me about the 3rd or 4th day, about the same time I started to get hungry, then I had to remind myself that the feeling was temporary. Have a great day, off to work, (for a little while).

Easy recipe.........place the fish over a couple slices of onion to keep it from sticking to the pan or foil, then pour your favorite Italian dressing over it. Cook either in the oven or on the grill until flaky, yum.

That was my first stop after leaving the hospital, a good cup of java. I drink 3-4 cups every day, except in summer, then I cut back to 2-3, LOL.

Thanks for the link, now I know what to look for. I haven't tried to eat a tortilla, you can really eat those, hmmmm. I'll give it a try, although I know I can't do the eggs, I could do the sour cream, cheese and bacon. I'll bet I could cook it in a frying pan and make it crisp then break it up and use it like a munchy food.

As you all know, I'm soon to be 56, well obv my sons are grown, but we have always been quite open with sex jokes. One day I was in the warehouse hanging out with the guys (roofers-and when I'm in their domain, anything goes, but if they're in the office, they have to be resectful and watch their mouth). Anyway, they were talking about viberators and one of them said my girl's takea 2 dbl D batteries, my son spoke up and said, "that ain't nothing, mom had to have a 220 outlet added to the bedroom for hers". The other son piped up and said remember the one she had to kick-start, (motorcycle talk). Anyway, everyone had a great laugh. Oh yeah, it was a joke, not true, any of it, LMAO.

I get the pain in my left shoulder/left side of the neck all the time, (first few times I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke), but it's after I've eaten a salad or something gassy. I eat a couple of Tums and it's gone. I think we're much more susceptible to heartburn or indigestion with the band.
-
Eileen, I have the 4cc band and my restriction always hit right away, IMMEDIATELY. My doctor only has me do 24hrs of liquids, your doctor sounds cruel, LOL. You ate chicken, I haven't had a fill since September and I'm still squeamish with chicken, it has to be mush. As for the snow, all we had was flurries, even when the sun was out. Anne, I don't think I'll ever learn where all those knobs are, you'd think when ya get the same kind of car you had before the knobs and buttons would be located in the same general area, NOT. That darn navigational system makes me push the "I agree" button every time I put it in drive, but I had to have the nav system in order to get the back up camera, which I like a lot. Hey guys I tried a new combo yesterday, my DH brought me a house salad from OutBack, along with the creamy french onion soup, OMG was that wonderful. Anyway, I took a packet of that tuna that's seasoned with garlic, mixed that in with my salad, added some ranch dressing and some raspberry vinaigrette, YUM. That tuna added such a punch and some protein.

Nothing makes me regular. I've used Benefiber in my coffee for months and I still have to use a Ducolax to "go", and I have to take at least two and it takes two days for it to work, no over night action for me. This has always been a problem for me, so I can't blame it on the band....so I know what it feels like to be full of chit.

Good luck Michele from NY and welcome to LBT, Jersey style, LOL, (I'm from VA).

Has anyone heard from Ciera? Three pages of posts and no follow up from her. I hope she's ok.

I second that good luck wish to Sherry W!

Picture time, taken with new camera, finally bit the bullet and bought the Canon Rebel XT

A lot depends on whether surgery is covered by insurance, which involves more hoops as oposed to self-pay, which is generally much faster.

You go girl, (Anne), you surely summed it up for me. I come here to here about the band and experiences others are having band related and not, but I can live without all the drama. Hugs to all.

Good Morning Everyone! It's been a busy week, between the grand kids whooping my a$$ and work, well I did go in a couple of days, and home stuff, where does the time go. When you get my age, time just skips on by. Sherry, I'm sooo excited for you. I had to be at the hospital at 5:30, so I drove myself and then DH and Mom came just before surgery, which was the way I wanted it and asked them to do. Zan, I think they must have pulled that thread, I did a search on PDA and nothing turned up, hummm. As for the car trading every 3 weeks, NOT, I lost my A$$ on the last deal. When I bought the smaller one, the GX470, I got a pretty good deal, they threw in the double DVD players, this time it cost me $$$, plus I had to pay for the upgrade NAV, like I need that to go to and from the mall and work, LOL. I was so disappointed snow 25 miles away and nothing but flurries here AND the sun's out, how weird is that. Gee Eileen, I can't even imagine who you might be talking about, LMAO, by the way, that's not the first time that person's done that, doubt it will be the last. Cindy, I hope you're all well now. Now Cindy, as sharp as you are, I know that split personality thing didn't get by YOU, LOL. Cindy, see my comments below in regards to the ugly posts by so many people. I think it's getting way out of hand, where are the moderators, what are they thinking? I know there's freedom of speach, but they should have a special "room" or section....The Bitching Room! Whatta ya think? Betty take care of those flowers. My mom started an indoor Amarillo bulb about a month ago and now it has 3 huge blooms, she had to prop it up. Sunsett, that would be a long drive by yourself, flying may be the way to go. I have to admit I've been spot reading threads here and there, I think I need a break from the amount of time I had been spending on LBT, with the exception of this thread and maybe one other, but after a year and a half of being consumed with it, and the same ol chit from the same ol people, just too much negativity. I have to admit I think I almost became obsessed with this site, so afraid I'd miss something, but there are so many people now and so much of the same stuff, thread after thread, I just got bored with it. I come here for the support and because of the certain people I have become so very fond of. I just erased a few more comments because I don't want to offend a few of the sweeties that do not come here, but this lil NJ group is da bomb, even if we aren't all from NJ. I need to go read up on Anne, sounds like you may be stressed out, here's a great big (((((hug))))). Be back later, gonna go do some catching up.

Question for all you Moms & Dads out there....
HarleyNana replied to Jessiebear's topic in The Lounge
It's interesting the way they're done differently, I have to admit, I liked mine better, although, the bows all the around was kind of neat. Adding all that other stuff does add to the cost. Sounds like your gift was very nice and will be greatly appreciated, I'm sure. Thanks for posting the picture for me to check out. -
Yummm, I tried this new sauce at Costco, Soy Ginger, dabomb! Good on chicken or fish, fried or grilled.
-
Howdy, glad you found us too. Good luck on your band journey!
-
That's true Betty, but I'm still kicking my own ash because I didn't eat that last great big, juicy hamburger, stuffed with blue cheese, boy does that just sound delicious.

Help Writing Personal Letter of Necessity
HarleyNana replied to 3loves's topic in Insurance & Financing
Sorry self pay, wish a letter would have done it for me, good luck. -
All it takes is ANY type of real potato for me and pb guaranteed, maybe not the next bite, but very soon to follow. Even mashed potatoes, unless they're flaked artificial taters, damn this is a smart band. I have tried soo many times to fool it, you know a tiny bite of mashed potatoes (Country Crock) followed quickly by beef and gravy, not to be fooled, then like Zoe said, multi pb's....ERRR. Hope you're feeling better Zoe.
