Yep, this thread has been done, but it was a long time ago. Mine is called "Thang". My DH always refers to that thang I had done.

I guess I'm just befuddled, (is that a word), I'm so addicted, more than a couple of days and I gotta ramble, yadayadayayda. Although, I think we all get into a mode of just wanting to lurk, my longest spell was almost a week once. Hugs everyone and glad to see ya posting again...where's Darcy and Becky?
-
My husband wanted me to ask this.
HarleyNana replied to MiaHalliwell's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Yeah, my DH thinks I spend wayyyy too much time on my puter too, but I told him I'm doing what I like to do, in a controlled environment, it's not like I'm out in 30 or 100 degree weather chasing a little white ball around for four hours....case closed. -
Never, but I do ask for water and lemon and a to go up, boy is that water good about 1/2 hour later.

Where is the strangest place/person you discussed your lapband?
HarleyNana replied to maryb's topic in The Lounge
Lets seeeeee, WAWA, (gas station/deli store), I told the check out clerk, local bar, one of my DH's friends was commenting about how much weight I'd lost and how'd I do it, yadayada, I told him the Adkins diet, well it was easier and it was loud in there and I think he was drunk, LMAO. I've pretty much told anybody that would listen, unless they were thin. -
Girl, you're too young to be wearing those granny bras, go get ya something sexy to hold them puppies!

GM All, Cindy, I know where you've been, working on those badges from Pogo, LMAO. Eileen, have you tried those chocolate crunchie little eggs, they're all on sale 1/2 price, OMG. :omg: , I've lived here 4 years today and just saw a cat walk by my house, where the heck did that come from :cry , sorry, just took me by surprise, LOL. Anyway...my son got to see Zack, he just went to her house on Thurs, knocked on the door, she opened the door and said, WHAT?, he told her he wanted to see his son and she let him in. He went back yesterday and took Zack's and Haley's Easter baskets. Before she left she told him she had pressed larceny charges for the TV, (which was his that she had kept when he moved out of her townhouse a year ago and refused to let him have, a well as a DVD player) and $400.00 Coach purse. He told her that if they came looking for him he would press charges for destruction of private/personal property for the damages she did to his plasma tv and walls and his MAMA, LOL. Kat, TG she doesn't have a gun that I know of, if she did, she'd prob use it. Y'all be careful, don't become a statistic, you can never under estimate people. Look at the lady that shot her preacher husband. Hugs, I know this must be a terrible time for your family. You're welcome anytime. Anne, it rained here Monday, DH took my Gson, three of his friends and my secretary's daughter to see that movie, they loved it. (What was he thinking, and he asked me if I wanted to go....NOT) Ivan, I'm so happy for you and your wife. I didn't have to do the stress test at over 50, but my mom over 70 did, which was a good thing. I sort of wish I had, ya never know what's in those veins. I'm pretty sure they would have found diet coke in mine. Ok, what'd I miss, somebody pm me and tell me what going on with Kelly. Well Paula, I've had enough rain here this week, it's nasty today and supposed to rain all weekend. Ok, I'm outta here, going to the exhibit hall they're having a traveling craft show, but I think it's more of a show with purchased stuff than home made stuff. Where's Darcy? Patty, send us some sun and warm weather. I'd love to visit I've never been to Californie. Bene, you staying home and playing with DH all weekend, . Sunnyset, how's your weather? I forgot where you live . Betty, get outta da pool and come talk to us. Later guys!

I've tried them ALLLLLL. I bought 4 of the Curvations from Walmart Sunday, all of them are going back, and they looked so darn comfortable, but their cups are way undersized ....for me. I just wore my Breezies yesterday that I got from QVC, actually, if the DD cups were DDD's I'd like it much better, but compared to the Vanity Fair 38DD I'd been wearing and falling out of, I found the Breezie much more comfortable, except for the puckers of "ME" coming out under the arm. The thing I liked about the Vanity Fair bra is it's underwire, it's kinda sexy like a shelf bra, with a tiny bit of padding where the puppies noses are, so I don't have to wear the pedals to cover the noses. Personally, I found those bras that are knockoffs of the Oprah bra at LBryants to feel like I was wearing a horse bridle or a horse feeding strap, and omg, they're UGLY, IMO. For the newbies, there are two other threads, one by me and one by DylansMom on bras as well. I went to Dillards a few weeks ago to be measured by a professional "bra fitter", only to be told I need an E cup, guess what, Dillards doesn't sell an E cup. I'll notice other big boobed women and want to tap them on the shoulder and say, "Excuse me, but what size bra is that and where's you get it", I know I'm not the only E size. There are several sites that sell the E, but, do I order the 38 or are they gonna be cut and I need to order 40? I would love to open a store that sold big cup bras, I'd make a fortune, because nobody, even the expensive department stores sell them. Well yeah, they might sell the ones that's got 15 hooks in the back and have 10 yards of material, LMAO. Check this one out...............

Kellie, girl, you are on a roll. You're looking wonderful. Thanks so much for the info, I was seriously thinking about the eye lift, but this sounds much easier and much less painful, thanks!

Lisa, (IMT), since you profess to be a "newbie", I just wanted say, I think you may have "read" her wrong. Paula is one of our kindest members. I've been here for a long time too and I've never known Paula to insult or be rude to anyone. So, I think you may have just taken her remark personally. As for the edit and delete buttons, I think they were fine the way they were. For example, I was frustrated in the Easter Thank You thread and was happy that I could go back and edit my comment, once I realized my surprise bunny had received her gift. My only thoughts on the deleting is I think we should be able to delete our posts, but if a thread's been started, and you're concerned for what ever reason, just delete your posts. Oh yeah, Lisa, you've been here since Feb, we consider you an oldie now, .

I bought one online and sent it back, although, I did try another "Oprah's Favorite" and it was quite comfortable.
-

Tina, thanks again for posting, like I said in the reply to your PM, I was just concerned that someone ELSE was enjoying your package, LOL. The apple candle does smell like a just baked pie. Hugs Girl!

HarleyNana replied to Jessiebear's topic in The Lounge
Jessie, thanks for sharing this story. I just found out Sunday night that my sis in law was taking the same med, so I've emailed her and told her to BEWARE! -
Yea, Tina got her gift, thanks for the PM. :clap2: I remember (formerly) bigbellieKellie did not get her Christmas gift, but I think she was the only one. It seems there are way too many that did not receive their secret bunnie gifts this time. Maybe it's time for who got who to be posted. I hope all the bunnies who have not yet received their gifts get them very soon.

The kids are absolutely adoreable, but the Dh is quite a HOTTTTTTTIE! :wow2: You're right hot yourself there cutie!
-
Tina, I'd still like to know if you ever got your gifts, please take a moment to let me know. Thanks

Looks like we're all pretty busy, just wanted to say Gmorning all! Two year old keeping day, I sure miss my woogie boy, the baby baby. My son and I went to see a lawyer yesterday, he's going for full custody. He, the lawyer, said that even if he doesn't get it, based on all of our documentation, at least she'll have to clean up her act, he's requesting a psych evaluation, she's gonna be shocked chitless. Bad part is we may not get to see him until July or Aug due to backlog in courts. :think :think Hugs everyone!

Here's wishing all of my LapBand Friends a very blessed day. Hugs!

yesterday, I couldn't check on any of my LB friends. I thought Mr. Alex had gotten mad at us and pulled the plug. :omg: :think  Whew, thanks Mr. Alex...:kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: .

Here is a current pic of me, taken at Disney...
HarleyNana replied to piercedqt78's topic in The Lounge
Look at this thin legs, you don't look like you ever had a weight issue. The book in your hand reminds me of the long lines I stood in with DGSON for those famous autographs. -
NO, not the 4th, it's way too crowded then. Anytime but holidays, those three day weekends are crazy. Who was planning a big Bday party for their DH? Hmmmm did you have it yet?

The needle came out, but was still under the skin, so all those shots they give you right before you leave went right into my hand. My hand was so swollen I couldn't make a fist. I kept telling the nurse something was wrong, because the injections were hurting so bad they made me double over, oh it burned so bad. She started fussing at me and told me she didn't chose to be operated on I did. Needless to say, she smarted back at the wrong person, I requested the head of that department and within minutes this unkind nurse was in my room apologizing. I still have a tender spot where the needle was, over a year later.

Smile and just think how good you're gonna look and feel once you start your journey. I was so excited, I could hardly wait, AND, I was my doctor's first lapband patient. He had a very experienced doctor from Louisville, KY, assist, so, I felt like I had two doctors for the price of one, but then again when you're self pay, ya feel like you paid enough for two, LOL. Congratulations, and you'll do just fine, I'm excited for you!

Congratulations Ira, I know you and your wife must be thrilled. She has such an advantage, a spouse that can help her reach her goal, what a role model you'll be. Eileen, what are you doing up so early? You must have been jonesing to get on here too, LMAO. I so enjoyed chatting with you yesterday. Donna, pick a date, somebody's gotta do it. Maybe pick a couple of dates and the majority wins. It's really busy around the 4th of July, then it get very hot and humid, but then again, that's what beaching is about. What a nice Easter gift, back on line with my friends again...:clap2: :clap2: .
