Unfill for Plastic Surgery
HarleyNana replied to EugeniaM's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I just had TT and breast redu/lift, I didn't get an unfill of any amount. -
Good Morning Girlies! I'd sure like to catch the person that scrubbed the back of my throat with sandpaper last night, ouch, my throat hurts, what do you all take for a sore throat? Belated BDay wishes Mandy, hope your day was special Sherry, I'm going to pick....I will not worry, LOL, I'm the biggest freakn worry wart. Eileenie, you surely are feeling frisky this AM, LMAO. Kat, your posts are always so inspiring, you should do that Riki, what ever, that Sherry does, I'll bet you'd be good at that. Patty, what a great mildstone, just one of many to come. Glad you're doing well and thanks for the compliments . Sounds like your head is in the right place and it makes such a diff once we start to see any weight loss, large or small...you go girl. Diane, (sg) where you been? I know you're not packing all this time. Betty, it would be a great Harley riding day here, almost 60. Hugs to ev1 even those I missed.

Nina, sending hugs and best wishes your way, you go girl! -
Betty, I hear ya with the struggling, here are big (((HUGS))), for a lady that's been there for all of us all the way !
-
No Mary, I did NOT get that from lipo, LMAO! TT, that's what gave me the flat tummy and new B button  I felt like I was a "Z". Hubby took the girls out to play last night and said he couldn't see much difference, what ever, LOL.

I always order Water and a "dish" of lemons. I flavor the water to taste, then take a few sips before my meal. Then after my meal, I order a to go cup half filled with ice, then I take my water with me. By the time my food settles, I have a nice cold water to sip. (I have to admit there have been occasions when that cup came in handy after I've left the restaurant too....if you get my drift, LOL)

I am freaking out!! I need advice......
HarleyNana replied to findingme's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Shannon, poor baby! My first fill, actually, my first year and a half was withOUT flouro, but on the first fill, he missed the port entirely. Thank goodness all fills are done under flouro now. Keep us informed....hugs. -
Betty, so sorry to hear about your uncle. I find it ironic how after someone passes like that, it seems like we often run into someone that makes us think of that person of for a split second you think it IS that person. I guess it's just the subconscience working on us. I have 6 doors entering my house, it's a ritual every night to make sure they're all locked. Home invasion is always a concen, we live way back off the road down a private lane. When DH goes on golf trips, I keep my cell phone by the bed in case some one cuts my phone lines, LOL.

Thanks Diane, I appreciate the compliments Kat, glad to hear the Mederma "works". Thanks for all the info. You gals are great

post op surgery problems with eating
HarleyNana replied to mellizo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mellizo, you're supposed to be healing, which is the reason for the various stages, take control girl, don't take a chance on damaging this new tool before it has a chance to work for you. Protein, protein, protein, it does help. We've all been there. Hugs -

February/March 08 plastics
HarleyNana replied to losingjusme's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Thanks for asking Neal, still doing very well, tyvm . I'll be thinking of you, mine all happened so fast I didn't get scared until about two days before, then I was freaking out, but I'm glad it's all done and over. Hard to believe it's been three weeks. Good you're staying busy. -
Yikes Kat, not so sure to use now. My friend swears by it, used it full strength on scabs from fall, no scars. Her dnl burned the tips of her fingers and she used it full strength and never blistered, but to use in your nose....oh my! Betty, that's so scary, what a way to start the day.

Aza, ty so much, actually, I'm bumping the big 60, I'll be 58 next month, but isn't 60 the new 50 ...? I have to admit, I don't feel almost 60, I sometimes forget I'm as old as I am, as Martha would say..that's a good thing.

Nurseamy's tummy tuck/Lipo/Mastopexy
HarleyNana replied to nurseamy's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Karey, the drains were my biggest pain, dealing with them for a week at shower time did make me ill, just my weak stomach..yuk. Lynn, my lipo was outpatient, as well as the TT and breast lift/redu, it can be done . Massaging the lipo area was very, very sensitive...a big ouchie! I need to update the pictures, the bruising is almost gone, yea! -
I would up the protein and be sure to take your vitamins. I also take B-12 tablets.

Do you burp more now that you are banded? (non-productive, just air)
HarleyNana replied to dustout's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I don't burp any more than before, but those sneaky little farts just slip out in the dangest places. If I'm in a store, I just look around...like, who did that, LOL. -
Hope you feel better Betty! Diane, I thought you were in Mexico? Sherry, we do need to talk about the Reiki stuff, it sounds so interesting. The scars are actually looking much better now, I'm using the Mederma and another brand along with it. I was going to put tea tree oil on it, what do you think?
-
OMG, a freakn "L", OMG, that's all I can say, the F was enough for me. Smaller boobs, oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about
-
WTG Kara, welcome to LBT and the VA site. I usually hang out in the NJ thread, just a great bunch of caring ppl there, sharing the same journey. Funny thing is very few ppl are from NJ, just a great thread.

Sorry, Ash, no idea here, never had those issues. Nice to see another Virginian here . You're still under warranty, (jst kidding), so check with your doctor, better to be safe than sorry.

Jetti, lmao, I do feel like a hot mama, an old one, but hot , oh maybe it was just a flash. Thanks.

Mandy, I'm surprised, for some reason, I thought you had already had a TT, maybe it's because you look so good . Well ladies, drum roll please, I finally weigh below...nobody's listening are they...150, 149 to be exact. Maybe I'm not giving my ps enough credit, maybe he took off alot more lbs than I realized..big smile here. Still have Fluid, so I hopefully will be down a little more, if not, it's just a number, the way I feel is more important. Thanks to a little pep talk from someone dear to me last night, not mentioning any names SW, but I do feel great. Taking mom to lunch, TTYL
