February/March 08 plastics
HarleyNana replied to losingjusme's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Unfortunately, I do have signs of weight loss in the inner thigh area, I had hoped the TT would snug that up a tad, but it didn't seem to help much. I mentioned somewhere before, the TT was not on my original visit to the PS, it was pretty much an after thought on my preop visit. Thanks for the compliments :smile2: -
Actually, I think he's a little disappointed they're still so big, he was looking forward to some "strange", LMAO!

Karey, I bought a few pairs from JCP and some from Walmart and also Target. The best ones were from JCP, they were more firm. Tami, I'm so glad I had the TT done :smile2: -

Please tell me my saggy ugly boobs are going to be fixable!!!
HarleyNana replied to BRANDYK's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Karey, I do own a Harley, but I haven't ridden for two years, it just doesn't come natural to me, not sure I'll ever ride again. This is a pic before my TT and breast redu/lift, on the three wheeler I learned on, my Harley is in the back left of the one I'm sitting on. -
Unfill for Plastic Surgery
HarleyNana replied to EugeniaM's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Neal, I did fine without the unfill, but I've been at the same level for almost a year . Maybe my "sweet" spot, ya think, LOL. -
Well thank goodness we finally heard from you Diane, thought we were going to have to send out the flying monkeys....ok Betty, you're warned. Diane, just because you're a pro bandster now, don't forget to drop in from time to time, at least every other day, LOL.

You said she's a friend, does that mean a good friend, or an aquaintenance? If she's a good friend, then I'd have to tell her and ask her to be happy for you and explain why you kept the truth from her, so as not to hurt her feelings. Then give her a hug and tell her to get on the band wagon!

I had a great NSV today too:) We had a local "home show", where various businesses go and show their wares, well one of our compeitors went up to my son who was minding the show today, and told him, "Man, I saw your mom in here last night and she's HOTT", can you imagine your 34 year old son passing that remark on to ya, wahoo! By the way, size 12 was my goal, not a # on the scales, love my new 12's and the new me, oh yeah, did I mention I'm 58, LOL.

Do you miss eating?

Why no caffeine and no carbonation
HarleyNana replied to yellowroseaz's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Kaila, I've been banded 3 years and your post is the first I've seen where the surgeon said it's ok to do carbonated soda's. Thanks goodness I do not have a desire for them now, but considering I was a Diet Coke junkie, they were not easy to give up. -
Thanks Mariposa, but the girls are still too big for Victoria's . I'm very disappointed the DD size, I don't believe there's enough swelling to cause them to be this large, but it would be nice if it is. My goal was a large C or small D, wahhh.

Welcome Christ, wow is all I can say, that was a lot to go through! I had TT and Breast lift/redu on the 14th of Jan, my scars are still a pretty purple and I've been faithful, well sorta faithful about putting the Mederma on them. You know us nosey LB folks would love to see pictures. I posted some on the Feb/March 08 surgery site.

HELP! SERIOUS gas 4 months post-op..poss. TMI
HarleyNana replied to MistyDTX's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Misty, my answer would be...welcome to lapband! I've been banded for three years and I could probably toot a song. My mom and I have had this discussion many times, she's banded too. At times, it can be down right embarrassing, LOL. -
Oh yeah, did I mention the hooters are still really big, I'm so disappointed . The're spilling out of my DD cup. I was just on line looking for bra's, pretty sexy ones, but not many to pick from in DD. Those hooters at Hooters looked like they were 20 years old, not 58, LMAO.

HarleyNana replied to BRANDYK's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Karey, are you doing the implants? At my age, I'm glad I didn't. I left it up to my ps. He said he could always go back and do them, but I think I'll pass, one less thing to worry with -

February/March 08 plastics
HarleyNana replied to losingjusme's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Drkl, you've got such a great disposition. I too consider my band my "best friend". Karey have you purchased any compression garments? I still use the one I got from my surgeon, but I also got the "tight" fitting panties to wear during the day. I still wear the "sports bra" type garment at night, I can't see where it helps very much, but it's more comfortable with it on than off. I've started sleeping on my side, actually, I started that the first week, which of course my little post op info pack says not to do. My doctor said it was more important that I get sleep than worry about sleeping on my side. I've still got a lot of swelling from the lipo area, and the girls are still going to be DD's and that's a over flowing DD. I was surely hoping for a large C or small D . Have a great day gang! -
Hello Virginians, lets hear from you.

Good Morning girlies! Well, guess where I'm spending Valentines Day....Disney World, well at least in that neighborhood. We're flying to Orlando Tuesday, it's supposed to be in the 70's, high 70's...and RAINING, ugh! It is supposed to be a pretty weekend though. Another couple is going to meet us there, but they're driving. So they won't be there until a couple of days later, but they're staying in the Condo we're renting, with us. Last month when we went, I had to pay a $25.00 fee because my suitcase was overweight, WTH! So, I'll be packing a little lighter this time. I always end up wearing the same clothes while I'm there anyway, LOL. Hubby thinks i still can't lift over 10 lbs, so he'll have to carry the laptop. Sherry, my dnlaw walked past my 14 yr gson's room, just in time to hear WTF, she whipped around and said CHASE, he said yes ma'am, she said don't you ever let me hear you say that again, he said, "yes mam", then she turned and had to laugh, he's never heard him say ma'am. Enjoy your day ladies. Betty where you been this weekend?

Kat, big OUCHIE, that made me weak in the knees just thinking about it. Hope he's ok, No pets for me, just dh to take care of, LOL, and believe me that's enough. Just left Hooters, what noisey ass place, I think I have a hooter headache, the girls won't be out to play tonight , at least not my girls.
