thanks for the advice!

Miriam, thanks for the advice! Water does nauseate me a lot!
-
I know exactly what you mean! Please let me know what your doc says...I appreciate the tips!

That's the big problem...I'm not. I can easily get the protein in, but the water and clear liquids is another story! I think that may be causing the situation I am having with bad water retention actually.
-
So sorry to hear of your frustrations! I am really going to do some serious research. We need to find answers. Good luck all!
-
Oh no! I don't like this. Solutions???
-
The same thing is happening with me and I am freaked out too!
-
Do you think that the stalls are because our bodies think they are starving?
-
I feel the same way...help!
-
Geesh, I am definitely a grazer and that concerns me. I was told 3 meals a day, but I get really hungry every 2 hours! I just take a few bites and feel content. Am I making bad habits? Will grazing stretch my stomach?
-
Nothing has hurt my stomach at all (I almost wish it would ) Seriously, just 5 weeks out and am kinda freaking out because I can actually eat a whole 6 oz yogurt just fine. Is that normal? Also, I am one of the lucky ones that started feeling hungry at about 3 weeks out, and I mean I get HUNGRY! Need some reassurance please!

The 3 week stall??? Serious? Maybe this is what happened to me.

Here I am 5 weeks out and for about 2 1/2 weeks I have been HUNGRY!!! Trying to get over the disappointment of that. Every 2 hours I get so hungry I can't believe it! I don't really have cravings (thank God). I can eat a few bites of pretty much whatever I want and have never felt sick at all. That freaks me out because I am so paranoid that I will stretch my stomach out or something!

Just getting on my 1st forum and feeling a little overwhelmed by so many choices of what to read! *_* My surgery was April 17 as well as Shrinkinmama (congrats)! I am having the same problem with water retention. The first 2 weeks I lost 23# and the next 2 weeks gained 4!!!! I was devastated...My surgeon said it was no big deal because he could see I was totally swollen, but it didn't make me feel any better. (how can you gain weight when you are barely eating anything?) I went to my regular doc who did blood work and everything. All was perfect, so he put me on a fluid pill. I have to say that I have not been able to drink the 75oz.+ of water per day, and I think that is actually why I retaining the fluid. HOW do you drink that much water a day, especially since you can't gulp it down???
