Been overweight nearly my whole life except in 2008 when my father passed away and I went on a diet and exercise spree. That only last a year and I gained everything back. I got married to the most wonderful man ever, had our first daughter, looked into getting sleeved and in the middle of setting everything up, found out we were pregnant again. Now we have two amazing little girls and I'm FINALLY scheduled to have surgery April 26th, with Dr. Garcia in TJ. I'm so excited and nervous but happy to be doing something that will not only benefit me but my family as well!! I look forward to updating everyone on how things are going!! God bless you all!!!

Had my surgery done exactly a week ago. The first 24 hrs were rough for me, but I had a great Dr (Dr. Luna) who took really good care of me and checked on me often. Around the 36 hr mark I was able to consume liquids and I started drinking Gatorade which I think really helped me feel better because ever since than, I haven't felt better!!! I've read a lot of people are under the weather and sore coming out of surgery for a couple weeks and for me that's not been the case. My husband works out of state so I have a 15 month old and a 3 month old to care for with no help and I was concerned about not lifting them and continuing on with our daily routine but I've had no complications at all!!! I'm not even sore! I do take Zantac everyday because of heartburn from my sleeve healing but other than that, this experience has been wonderful!! I'm looking forward to updating everyone as time progresses.
