Thanks for filling her in Phyl. I've got someone coming to appraise my house, so now I'm re-cleaning my house, dusting, the whole works now. Staying busy, hope it counts as excercise, cause I'm beat already.

Dini, so exciting about the dress. You're doing so great, so keep it up. Hope Annarancesca is ok. I had some problems with Hunter yesteday. He's 3 and half and had his first bout of being "clogged up" and was crying yesteday. Had to get immediate help for him, so made a suppository(sorry if this is TMI)but anyway, 2 hours later, he was going. He's not one to ever cry in pain, so I knew he was hurting, we we're both crying in the bathroom. Marcy, I remember when I got my first tattoo, the guy told me the best think you could put on a tattoo is preperation H. He said is has the healing ingredient and an anti-inlammatory in it. So I went to get some at the store, with my ex at the time who was getting his tattoo the next day, and when we were up to the register I looked at my ex and said "Do you think we should get the bigger tube since you'll be getting yours tomorrow" The register clerk looked at me and her mouth dropped. I had to tell her what we were using it for, cause she was in shock thinking I could tell that my ex would need that for the next day!!! It was so funny. So being on liquids or 2 days again after my fill has done me good. I'm down 2 more lbs from Tuesday. Hope it stays off, but who knows. Back to mushys tonight and solids tomorrow,OMG!! I was suprised to get right back on the computer with no problems today. I guess the yahoo messenger was freezing my computer. Now I wonder if I should try to download it again, since before it was downloaded before the new Nortons Security. Maybe downloading after the security is in place will be better. Any ideas would helpful!!

Here's the things I'm looking forward to: more energy for my son more energy for my DH,LOL better health, quality of life better ability to preform my job self confidence and respect from peers to look decent in a bathing suit new clothes every 3 months for the next year or two!! my tatoo on my back with my low rise daisy dukes!!! oh, and the belly button pierced so I can FEEL like 16 again!! Hey, I missed all that!!! For once, weighing what my license says I weigh, and going under that weight by 40 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy, I'm still struggling with my computer, as I've downloaded all these new programs and it was still freezing up on me. I've been on the phone today with my broadband connection, Microsoft, and Compaq, so not a fun day. I may have figured it out on my own, again, because I wasn't paying Microsoft or Compaq $50 to $60 just to talk to a technician. So, I downloaded Yahoo messenger last week, and ever since, my computer has been doing bad things, so I uninstalled it about 1 hour ago, and ran all these test from PC Doctor. Now, I'm running good again. It goes from one day to the next. So my "life" as you call it has not been one at all, just sitting here watching the computer do nothing. It's aggravating!! But keep you fingers crossed it's working now!!! Did you really think I would leave you all after everything we've been through!!!! My DH laughs at me cause he can tell how frusterated I am to not be on the computer tying away. He thinks it's funny, and I'm about to shoot him!!! He tells me I'm having withdraws, so it must be an addiction!!! Dini, sorry babes I had to disconnect yahoo messenger so we can't talk anymore. Maybe I can try to reinstall in a few days, give this new norton security time to get settled in!! Chim, you get mushys tomorrow?? Great, you'll be ready for the change. I was gonna tell you to buy some fresh fruit and make it into a smoothie. Oh it's so good!! But tomorrow, you'll be trying a lot of new things. dmtjet, how was the ride?? Marci, love the tatoo. Was that a current pic, or an older one, because it looks brand new, the color is sharp!! Cazulay, it is hard to fix dinner for others and then watch them eat it. I find myself eating at the computer with my backs to my boys, if whatever they are eating is tempting. In two days, I can be eating with them, so I didn't feel too bad for ditching dinner time with them for a month. Jackie506, a compliment from an inlaw, now that's saying something!! Way to go!!

Kathy, so sorry to hear you sis can't watch the kids for you, but she sounds excited for the changes you are making in your life. That has to feel good in itself!! On the fill side, I hope being on these liquids again for 2 days will give my system a rest and a jump start before my solids on Friday. The head hunger is killing me right now, but managable. I have all these mushy foods around that I can't eat. Has anybody realized that they are throwing away foods more often than before. I'll open something up, and eat some of it for about 3 days, maybe 3 meals out it and then I'm throwing it away. I hate throwing it away so I've started freezing things. I'm getting close to being out of containes, and freezer room!!

Good Morning Lucky 7's!! I spent all day yesterday downloading NEW antivirus, spyware, etc. Cost me $105 so it better be working,LOL. Read up of a few posts. So here's what I've got: Brunmie, welcome to our group. I was banded on July 2, so I'm 4 weeks post op too. Marcy, OMG, love the idea of the anklet for our "food addiction". Better yet, I like Kathy's idea to have the suave hot guy calling us, no wait, how about we use my doc!!!!!!!!!!!!! So speaking of my doc, I went and had my first fill yesterday, yes, exciting as I felt as if I was eating mysel out of house and home on Monday. I was nervous going in. After our little chatting session, drool in all, he layed me back in my chair (too bad th nurse was present,LOL) Anyway, he felt around for my port, cleaned it with alcohol, and then said I'd feel a stick. I'm not one for needles, and it hurt. The skin was tough as he had to go through the scar tissue from the surgery incision. It took about 10 seconds to get to where he neded to be, and he filled me with 1.4 cc of saline. He was done in less than 45 seconds, maybe shorter. As he finished I remember saying, OMG, and there are people out there doing these fills for themselves, are they freaking nuts!!!!! I've heard that some people do their own, I don't know how, but I could never do this myself, and it is scary to think there are people out there doing this, but to each there own. So, with the fill complete, I'm on liquids again for 2 days, until tomorrow night when I can go back to muhys and then onto solid foods on Friday. "Did I say solids", yes I did, and I'm scared of that too. Why do I think it's just to early still. I do feel restriction. I can still drink my water without sipping, but only take about 3 mouthfulls and swallow and put the bottle down. So I'm not sure how restricted I am yet, to soon to figure it out, but lastnight I made 2 scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese. My son helped me eat it so I'd say I had half of it, maybe a little more, but I was full. Did it again thismorning, and again, only ate half, and I was full. So I think if I had to guess, it was 3 ozs. I did drink shakes yesterday and was able to get in 4 ozs, but it is liquids. The eggs are on my docs liquid diet if I puree them. Then I saw the dietician too. This is where it gets interesting. She doesn't want me to log my calories, etc., on Fitday anymore. She doesn't want me to feel like I'm on a diet. She said as long as I stay within the oz guideline, there is no reason to count anything, not even carbs. So, I guess I don't have to log anymore, but will continue to journal and log activities. She said I was doing great on meals, getting in my water, but wanted to tweak my snacks, as I have to incorporate potein into them some how, even though I'm getting in between the 60 and 70 recommended grams a day. So no more pudding or applesauce unless I put the powder in it. I told her that I had all this pudding and applesauce left from liquid phase left and I was just trying to get rid of them. Oh well, she was very pleased, and of course I had to tell her about the pancake incident. She just said to use it as a learning expeience. So, I'm down 4 lbs since my last visit, so I'm at 214. Have to change my ticker now. Sorry to ramble on. I missed everyone, and my fingers were longing to get to type on this keyboard!!!

Hey chim, you gonna get inked in Miami with Dini. She need to make it in October, wehn I'm going to be down there, then we all 3 can go. I'll have to start drawing up my art!! Here we all are outside Miami Ink waiting and waiting for our tatoos!! I can handle this!!

NewCC, just because your doc is an ass, don't be hard on yourself. This is a tool you needed, just like the rest of us, and you can always find another doc, but trust in yourself to have made the right decision for you, and tomorrow will be a better day. Hang in there with us. I'm glad you got an antibiotic for the healing process.

Phyl, I found the syrup at our Walmart supercenter. They had the vanilla and hazelnut also. Wish they had mint to put in my chocolate shakes. It's sounding really good.

frustrated, when you do long for something sweeter one day, the brown sugar splenda is very good in your oatmeal!!!

Sunny, I have been sleeping a lot, even taking naps with Hunter in the afternoons helped a lot. I think it does help you heal better. Cazulay, you a belly sleeper too. It's great to get back in your normal position after surgery. Cate54, sound like you're doing well. Keep up the great progress. Newcc, I'd call the doc too. You may just need an antibiotic, so don't freak out. Just something to take the infection away and make you more comfortable. Good luck, and let us know what happens.

Phyl, I got the DaVinci raspberry syrup last night and put it in my shake this morning with 1 oz of raspberries. OMG, it is so good. It reminds me of Greater's black raspberry chip ice cream (for who ever is familiar with Greater's ice cream) oh, I'm going to have another one tonight!!! Dini, how ya doing babes, I'm up finally. This it the latest I've slept since being off. It's gonna kill me to get up ar 4:30 am next week for work. I think I need to play the lotto this week. Maybe I won't have to go back,LOL!!

I did weight in compulsively the first 2 weeks, and then my loss stopped, and I stopped gettin on, a little depressing, but bound to happen sometime. Hope our bandsters for today are on their way, and will be recovering well today.

dmtjet, you brought tears to my eyes with that story. My fathe is gone, and I so miss him terrible, and have mourned his death for so long. My mother and I have tried very hard to make amends in the past 16 years since he's been gone, and though we will never be close, I do love her, and would miss her terribly too. We all have the world in our hands, to do with it whatever we want, and there's no use crying over spilled milk, only laughter when you spill the whole gallon!!! I hope one day to age as a healthy, more mature adult then I have every dreamed of being, and when it's time to bring my mother home, I'm assured that I too will let her sit at our table, the family table!! Thanks for that story.

The pain you're feling may still be gas in your bady, it can take a long time to work itself out, so keep walking, and maybe take something for the gas pains. The walking will help move it around so it can exit your system. Sorry I had to rush out yesterday. I started feeling nauseated, for almost 2 hours. Never got sick, but wasn't feling good at all. Dmtjet, I have ate the spaghetti squash with sauce before, it is very good. I'm heading out to the store for ricotta cheese right after I get in the shower. I hope to have it for dinner tonight, or lunch tomorrow!! Sunny and Kathy, so you doing ok guys. Hows Bamdland been treating you both? Chim, did you get your bodybugg yet lady??? Nurse 76, how was the test??? Give it a few days and you'll do fine. ribearty, my doc said no pools for 2 weeks to, but I'd listen to your doc just in case. I bought my son a salad at Subway the other day for dinner, because he loves salad, and I think I was salivating and drooling through the glass just at the sight of them making the thing!! Can't wait for that either!!

Since I've been gone, I've been thinking of some more mushy food to try. How about ricotta cheese topped with SF or FF spaghetti sauce (if you have a taste for lasagna, this could be good), or spaghetti squash with the spaghetti sauce. I'm going to try some tomorrow!! Went to the flea market and came home with so much fresh fruits and veggies. I cut up all this fruit and made a huge fruit salad, and just stared at it. Oh it looked so yummy, but I can't eat it like that, so I put some in my magic bullet, and it's in the freezer now. I'll have my frozen fruit and eat it too!! Can't wait.

Hello everyone, how's everyone tonight!!

Hey all, the computer is working very good now. I really don't have time to go back and re read the post, SORRY!!!! I've got so much cleaning to do today, and my DH wants to go to the flea market. I told him if we get this place cleaned up, we can go, so I'm off to clean, and then to the flea market for some excercise. Oh, went to a 40th birthday party last night for one of Ray's friends. I did good. I had cheese off of 2 small pieces of pizza, and then had some cheeseball with 2 crackers, and 2 small meatballs with BBQ sauce. The sauce I burped all night long, so it will be a while before I eat that again, but I thought in my first FOOD EVERYWHERE situation, I held my composure. Felt weird as I was tryig to get all the almond pieces off the cheese ball, but I don't think anyone noticed me doing it, just I noticed. Have a great day, and hope everyone is recovering well today. I'll check in later!!
