I couldn't feel my port until 3 minutes ago. It's still has medical tape on it. Not touching it until it's healed.

Did they tell you that too much laughing is a BAD thing, cause OMG, I think I strained my port!!!!!!!

I'm still laughing uncontrollably, and I just realized I have a port, cause it's hurting now.

Dmtjet, I just read your post to Dini, and I had taken a drink when I started. I almost spit it all over the computer screen I started laughing so hard.

dmtjet, what's funny is that when you change your signature, it goes back and changes it in all your past posts. So when people read about your pencil being short, they'll just think we're losing it!!!

Dini, you need to change your ticker to a weight loss ticker. Maybe that will be the luck you need to get the pounds moving. But 3 lbs is 3 lbs. I'd take anything at this point!!!!!!! You're moving, and in the right direction, so keep on going!!

dmtjet, there is a line at the bottom of your signature that has (URL). Maybe try to erase it and see if that's fixes it.

Dini, you're a strong woman, and you'll be fine I know it. Don't let him hold you back. It sounds like you are unhappy, and you have a new life now. If he doesn't fit in, he just doesn't fit in. I bet you'll look good in those boots. If I ever had skinny legs (my calf is all muscle- don't think it's gonna go anywhere) I'd love a pair of those long zip up boots, but then I'd need a place to wear them too!! Maybe with my sexy lingerie!!!!! In my house of course, you know, the bedroom!!!!

dmtjet, funny thing is I have walked a marathon!!! Last year I walked the Columbus Ohio marathon on October 15. I trained for 5 months with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. I did this at my highest weight ever. Took me 7 hours, 16 minutes, and 47 seconds to complete all 26.2 miles. One of my personal goals is to walk another marathon, at my goal weight, and compare my times.

texgal61, my DH doesn't really get on the computer, and my 3 year old get on and goes to Sesame Street.com and plays all the games there, but he's never on long before he's off doing something else. So it's just me. I haven't even been home a week yet and I am bored, but trying to keep busy. Typing keeps my mind off the food!!!

texgal61, all you'll have after surgery is time!!! This is my new addiction now, as you can tell by my 250+ posts I've made. I love hearing peoples stories, and that they've got a date to chane their life. It's an exciting place, and I just can't stay away, even for a day (if I do there will be 5 pages to read up on, you know)

rrkeithsgirl, your welcome for the ideas. My first 5 days of being banded have been great. Only problem has been the gas for me. It takes it good old time getting out of me. I'm on my THIRD :omg:box of gas x strips. OMG:eek:, I thought it would be gone by now. It's not really that painful, but more irritating than anything.
