Dini, no solids until 4 weeks post op. I'm on liquids until next Tureday when I go to see the Dr. Only he can progress my diet. My first fill is July 31. So just the boys will be eating, and I'll be drinking, or eating something liquified. How far are you from Italy? I'd love to travel over seas, but I don't think I'd make the flight. Too long for me to be cooped in a small area. My dream would be to go to Paris,France. I took 5 years of French in highschool. Now I feel like it was a waist of time, since I don't even use it. Oh well, going to get going on my cleaning. I'll check back in a little bit. I'm going to go thru Hunter's toys today and try to get rid of some. He has so much he doesn't play with that I'd love to donate and get out of the house. They are piled high in his room and my living room. Can't stand it no more. Congrats again on the lweight loss. I'm sure your father will definitely see a difference when you visit. Bye babes.

Phyl, no luck but thanks for trying to hel. At least I got to see the bigger one!!! I can't believe you we're smaller. We're you wearing your hair differently, sometimes it makes a diference. Maybe they mis-measured. Can't wait to hear from out Monday Bandsters. Hope everything went well for ALL.

It's only page 110. Felicia downloaded a picture, a very huge picture, and it made everything on the page out of proportion. It was hilarious. I was laughing so hard, again, I thought I was going to strain my port again. Doing wonderful. Getting ready to clean up the house a bit. Told DH I'd try to come up with something for dinner for him and Hunter tonight so he didn't have to eat fast food again, so I'm going to be cleaning out the fridge, etc, and cooking today. I've rested enough I think.

Cherrybomb, I'm on a two week liquid also, but I can eat cottage cheese or a scrambled egg, as long as I puree it first. I have been buying the small curd, so I don't puree it. Can you eat pudding? I can on my liquids phase. I mix protein powder into it, by hand. I add the unflavored protein to soups and applesauce too. Do you like egg drop soup? It has some protein because of the eggs, and you could always blend it a little if the pieces are too big.

Yeah Dini, you're doing great, and working around food all day, I don't know how you manage. You've got will power, girlfriend!!!

Holly sue, you have a ticker, and I see you visited glittermaker.com also. Great job, love it!!! Felicia, we have a new name for you girl, Felicialicious:kiss2:!!!! You know, like Fergie's song. So glad we got to that next page this morning. We won't go back to page 110 ever!!!HA-HA, LOL. ronik26, I couldn't drive until I was off the perscribed pain meds. Just take it slow, wear your seat belt, even if it's akward:phanvan, and be safe. Good Luck. Phyllser, I see you resized Felicia's picture.:clap2: It comes up as this little box with the red x in it. Why can't I ever open these? I've treid, it's just something my computer won't allow me to open up. What do you think I need on my computer to open them? YEAH, I just received my ID bracelet. So excited. It's a tad too big, but if it gets to me I can always have a jeweler take out a few links. I also received a card to have my DR sign off on, and if I mail it in, it has a 1 year waranty on it. If I ever have to have the engraving information changed, they'll change it for free, which to me would seem like I'd get a new one. I'm loving it.:heh:

Felicia, what's funny is I almost posted "your HUGE":omg: after that picture came up, but then I thought if I did and you went back and fixed the picture and others were reading the posts, they would think I was an A-- for saying that. It was funny though. It's bad post op to be laughing that hard!!!!!!! Kristin07, the last appointment may be for pre admission testing for the hospital, you know the bloodwork they need, etc. Do you know what type of band you're getting? That may be a qustion you can ask if you don't know, or if there's any pre-op diet he wants you on before surgery. I don't know what all you've asked already. I'll try to think of others.

Holly sue, I can PM you directions. Please check your messages at the top in about 5 minutes or so.

Felicia, I wasn't yellin at you honey, I'm SIMCLMAO at you. That would be sitting in my chair, laughing my as- off at you. I think it's hilaroius, and it's taking me like 7 or 8 minutes to re post. Did you like my :car:BUMP, BUMP!!!!!!!!

:car:BUMP,BUMP........................:car:BUMP,BUMP,...BUMP!!!!!
-
So how close do you think we are to a new page. Just trying to bump us to another one.
-
Felicia, sorry, but I don't know anything about the pictues.
-
Felicia, what did you do girl, you blew up our whole page with your pic!!!!!! You're beautiful. BTW!!!
-
cherrybomb, have you tried cottage cheese yet. It's filling for me, and has a lot of protein in it. Can you have soup? Try getting a chunky soup like vegetable or chicken noodle and blending it good. Eat slowly, and chew any biger chunks, but it's satisfying. Are you adding protein powder to anything other than shakes?

Heading to bed. Going to try sleeping in my own bed, finally. My DH is a little upset since he's been sleeping on my side for the last week, and likes it better than his now. Oh well, we're not switching now. Have a great night everyone.

Chimboree beat me to it. You go girl.

OK, time to give shouts out to the 7/10 Bandsters on deck: Marcy, evilah, Ashrea84, rebecca411, icybreeze, princesswillow, and jess SA. Best of Luck to all of you as you enter BANDLAND tomorrow. Let us know how your doing when you can. You have our prayers.

Kathy, you "BAD" girl. Have you thought about gall bladder surgery?? It has to do with your eating habits. When you're not eating what others are, just tell them your stomach can't handle it now since your gall bladder surgery!!!
-
Chimboree, if you're still around, I'm getting ready to PM you. Check in a few minutes for a message.

Appleblossom, I'm so glad you're doing well. Keep it up and you'll be on the losers bench soon!! cazulay, the bodybogg is this thing you wear on your arm that helps you count your calories, keeps track of your movement and excercise, and basically lets you know it you are on track to lose weight for the day. You can find out more at bodybugg.com. They are expensive, $399.99 and you have to sign up for the website also, another $99 a year or something like that. I found this watch at Walmart that seems to do all the same things, for $39.88 and I just wnet to website to register my watch, and I've paid nothing to join there MIO club, and I have full axcess to the website. I'm still checking it out though. Wanted to see if Chimboree was still on here tonight because she's been researching longer than I so I figured I'd let her check it out too, just to see if it's comparable.
-
*****NEWS******FLASH****** I'll let everyone know how well it comparesand works, but I just bought a MIO SHAPE watch at Walmart. It looks like it could be a cheaper version of the BODYBUGG we've been reading about. It was only $39.88 and it's a watch, not something you wear around your arm. I'm just now going to open it and read about it, but wouldn't it be great if I just found something(for $39.88) that is comparable to the BODYBUGG (that retails for $399.99). How exciting. I'll let you all know tomorrow. Going to go read about it now.

Cazulay, I'm sure she is jealous, but ask her kindly to be suppotive, and maybe if she follows your diet habits you'll be having, she will lose along with you. Maybe you can suggest things she can do to try to afford it herself, go to Mexico since it's cheaper, or try to find a way to finance it. If you're able to help her look into options for financing that she may not of thought about, maybe she won't feel so jealous that you are able to have the surgery since you've tried to help her out. Did that make sense at all. I've typed it a few times and I'm not sure if it sounds right. But some people give up when insurance says no. If she really wants it, there is a way out there to get it. It may take time, but it can happen. She could change jobs, with different insurance that will pay for it. She could sell unwanted items on e-bay to get things started, anything to bring in extra money. She could save, and be on her way to Mexico in no time. I myself took out a 2nd mortgage on my house. I don't care if it takes me forever to pay it off, because at least I'll be around to pay for it, god willing. Hope this helps. Sorry if I rambled on.

wrangler, I'm loving the fudge pops too. I can have 3 and only 120 calories total, 6 g of protein. YUM YUM!! Laughing at the Scarlet thing too. Ditto on the post from peaches about the no eating after midnight so nothing going to be in your stomache. Sounds like she's trying too hard to scare you over nothing.
-
Dini, Babes, I know, but you need a day off once in while too, you know!! Just geting ready to head out to Walmart, at least I'll get my walking in for the day,LOL. unruhlyhd, welcome to the best group out here. We have lots of upcoming banders ready to go, some are already banded, and others are in the hospital now. You'll learn a lot here, we're excited to have you join us. Indiogirl, I know what you mean on the calorie thing. I've only had 527 calories, 58 g of protein so far today, and i have 1 snack left for today, but I'm on the other side and feel full, so remember, your starving mode will not last long. Just think about how full you are going to feel after surgery. Are you putting any protein scoops in your shakes??? If not try it. It may keep you satisfied longer. I'm off to the store. I'll check back in so later, gators!!!
