Mornin Gladster, and welcome back. You can get to the recipe thread if you scroll down to the bottom of your page where it says forem jump. Click on July 07 Bandsters. Under there is a bunch of threads. It will e listed under Lucky 7's Recipes. About showering, I only rubbed lightly with my shower puff over the incisions, and air dryed. I still had the strips on when I went back to the Dr. this week. I didn't "clean" them well at all, just a light rub over them, and then I rinsed.

Good Morning all. Welcome ms925, tenille, and kcorbin. We have a great support group here, so jump on in and enjoy the fun. We get a little crazy at times, but it makes the time fly by faster when you have others that are so excited for you and your Banding date. Tinkerbell, glad you're doing so well. It will just keep getting better every day!! Lindaa, great job, down 7 more lbs. Isn't it a great feeling seeing the scale go down!!! Kathybad, sounds like the kitchen is coming along well. Can't wait to see some new pics. Have fun at the Karate thing today!! dmtjet, I hear you on the obgyn thing. I have to make an appointment for my first mammagram, and soon, but wanted to wait until after I was healed in that area. I have to go to the dentist this month too, and my son has his first dentist appointment. Kinda glad to have that extra week off as we'll probably have Dr. appointments ALL week. My son has been wanting to go to Chuck E. Cheese (a fun pizza place for kids to play games, etc. for those who have never heard of it) so I'm going to pick up my niece and nephew and take them along with us. I can just see my son getting up in these large tubes that kids can crawl around in and when I say it's time to go, he won't come down. I sure can't get up there and get him, so my niece and mephew will come in handy, plus they just love to go anywhere with us!!

G'nite all, I'm heading to bed. I missed my nap today, had to do some cleaning up. This 3 year old wants to have every toy out, all the time, even if he can only paly with one at a time!!! Never ending, but wouldn't change it for the world!!!!

Dini, it's an expression used here too. I guess Cincy is just home of the Flying pigs. Lived there for 28 years, and darn't I haven't seen one yet!!

Dini, I'm doing great today. Much better, and finally done beating myself up. Has Adam starting ironing yet?? You made me laugh when you said something about pigs flying. I'm originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, the city known for flying pigs!! We even have the Flying Pig Marathon every year.

Hey Mango, did you get to check out the AP Band pics yet? Pretty cool. From what I understand they just had a medical conference at the end of June when they officially released the band. I know some Dr. were given a few to try on patients before June. I guess it just depended on who you knewor something like that. Anyway, it's cool you're getting one. I asked my Dr. about it and he said they both are good bands and both willwork well

Congrats on being banded. We have a great group of support at the Lucky # Sevens thread. We've all been banded in July 07 or will be banded by the end of the month. Stop in and see us if you want!!! We're a great group!!

MsPris, you do sound in good spirits, and you are family, so stick around with us. God has his own way and plan of what he wants for each of us, and maybe this wasn't his plan for you. Maybe he has BIGGER plans for you. Hang in there, and hope your physically feeling alright.

Betty, welcome to the Lucky 7's. We're in a bit of a shock right now due to some sad news from one of our Bandsters, but we are a very suppotive group to be around. We're excited you found us.

MsPris, I'm so sorry to hear about your surgery. My condolences to you, but you must stay and chat with us, along as your ok with it, we'll be happy to have you here anytime. So is there no hope later? Maybe you just need to heal for a while. I can't imagine what your feeling, but we're sure glad you are ok after everything you went through.

AppleBlossom, I was on Sparkpeople for a while last year after leaving the Biggest Loser club. A lot from that web site went to sparkpeople because it was free. It is a nice place, but I never did any journaling.

AppleBlossom, marshmellows sound mushy to me, and they are Fat Free!!! Have fun camping!!

Mango, it's AP band. The only diffeence is that the tube inside that gets inflated is I believe 360 degrees, instead of the others that do not inflate around where the band is closed together. I believe Dr. Curry in Cincinnati has ben using it. He was my second choice for surgery in my area. I think the tubing has ridgesin ti too, instead of being smooth. There are some threads on here that show the difference. You may want to use the Search up on top of this page and see what you can find there. You figure liquids in, liquids out so give it a few more days. lindaa, sorry your experience wasn't everything you had expected it to be. I know it's a hard choice when you're self pay, because the price is so much more affordable. I'm just glad you are a nurse and could help them out with your own care when needed. Did you find someone local to do your fills? Phyl, I'm going to look for that syrup when I go to Krogers. What foods did you find it next too, or in what area?

Phyl, I was able to find it a local healthy alternatives store, but you can find it at Jayrobbs.com if no where local has it. Where did you get your DaVinci flavoring? Sounds good. Yes, I'm loving Fit Day, never been on the site before, but it's great. I've been on there today customizing all my food. dmtjet, a new baby in the family. Congrats Auntie. Let us know how he's doing! I just had the refried beans with sour cream and cheese melted on them. Yum, and it went down real well too. Great mushie food.
