  1. Good luck to you!! You will be amazed at the difference it brings. :-)

I had my TT in Aug 2010 (No muscle tightening as I have hernia mesh in there) - And I am happy today as I was back then - My scar has widened a tiny bit in healing - But has stayed the same for years as I am same size etc. I Love love love my results!

Pic below is not long after the Op - Now it is similar but a white line... When I say it has stretched a bit I think that is cos my PS said to remove tapes and now if I did it again I would keep the paper tapes n for at least TEN weeks to support the scar whilst healing - Stopping it stretching a little - I know this to be true as in my other operations I did that and they haven't stretched like this one... You live and learn I guess... Still love it tho!

    congrats looks great!

  2. what insurance do you have? I have a way to go before I can even think about it, but I am having problems with rashes :( ... just curious who you have ... I guess I should call mine to see if it's a covered benefit...someday ;) ...but the tummy is probably all they will cover... not my cottage cheese thighs or bat wings....lol That's why clothes were created!

I have state insurance "not medicaid" but it's almost like it.

  3. I'm having a full Tummy Tuck May 8th. My plans wasn't to have any type of plastic surgery at this moment in my life, but I'm at risk of developing infection since my tummy is extremely saggy & hanging low. My insurance is covering my plastic surgery tummy tuck. It will make me feel better & more comfortable in my body. I'm not having any other plastic surgery unless my insurance is going to cover it. I'm not made out of money & it's a miracle I'm getting this procedure done. I'm very bless & extremely happy :)

  4. You seem to be doing everything right. I have a problem with keeping a stall. Yes a stall I'm getting smaller & smaller & I eat as if I just had surgery. I think I have a lot of stress in my life. There was a point in life that I was able to eat more food but now I eat like a 2 year old. I have a small bowl & my kids bowl. If I eat more yes I would vomit. Everything blood & all is perfect in my health wise but I just keep getting smaller. This weight must stop before I look like a skeleton. I'm 5 foot 105 pounds size 00 and I'm not showing off at all. I'm comfortable with my tiny body but how do I stop the scale? I'm not far from being 100 pounds.

  5. Your not alone. I don't eat pizza daily but I do maybe twice a month. Nothing wrong with that. Control is the only key. I don't except use my self reason being its cuz I feel I'm gonna get like a stick but I do off/on. More walking then anything. Start little by little. Do you like fruits? I love them. So many choices. Fruits it's healthy & fills u up. If u feel sad & depress talk to a doctor medication helps a lot. I take depression medication & I feel great! I'm here for you :)

  6. Edited to say: 1 month photos on page 5 of replies

Well, i went to Mexico to Dr Sauceda and had fairly extensive work done. I started with 7 drains and am now down to 1. I still have stitches in. So far, my results look great and I am very pleased, but it takes 2 months to see your final due to swelling etc. I still have a bit of a poochy tummy but I think it will be flat once the swelling goes down.

I was very pleased with the surgeon and his care team. I loved the 3 nights and 4 days of clinic supervised recovery - excellent pain management and nursing care. Then, I was released to a hotel were I was bandaged and checked daily by a nurse and the doctor visited each day as well. For me, this was the only way to do it as the level of care I needed post op was fairly high in the early days.

His way of doing anesthesia and working with a partner means he could do alot in one surgery safely... however, no joke - this was alot of surgery at once. I had the lower body lift, breast lift and augmentation, arms and "small" thigh lift. That means no incision down the inner thigh, just along the groin. My recovery has so far been textbook. I saw my PCP and she was overwhelmed with happiness at how good things look, the incisions look good, all signs so far are of excellent healing.

I am far from out of the woods though; complications can still happen so I am diligent about taking it easy (this is killing me as I am normally so active), getting in even extra Protein and wearing the compression garments from hades. :)

The surgery was NOT painful and the incisions have never really been worse then kind of sore. The very worst part is dealing with the tight garments, the forced inactivity and of course the drains. There are certainly discomforts.... of the 6 drains pulled so far, two of them hurt.

Taken today, two weeks out, I am sorta hiding the two drains still in the mons area:

These photos were recent, pre surgery. As you can see, I had worked out and had some "toning" under all that skin.

I will get better pics when that last drain comes out... it is quite literally a drag on my style!

To round this out, i decided to add a pre VSG photo so you get the gist of how much I have transformed!

    You look great!
