I am out aprox 14 weeks. Weight day of surgery 226.1 Today I am 190.6 Feel like I have not lost very much. Hair is falling our and I am exhausted. I have no energy to exercise. Just barely enough energy to work full time, and take care of a family. Is this normal?

I know how you feel. Sometimes I think the hunger is in my head. I'm not sure. I do get full really fast. I had the lapband in 2008 and had to have it removed in 2010 due to slippage. So needless to say this is the second surgery I have financed and my surgeon said he made me a small sleeve.

Day 4 Post-Op - Some Questions
tonia replied to abbybeep's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello, positive energy your way. What help me was having someone bring me a large cup of crushed ice from a circle k/gass station. Thus is what saved me. A spoon full of crushed ice every five to ten min. I also had a fever. Mine was 101.5 I took liquid tylenol. I did not take pain meds once I got out of the hospital sine I believe they made me sick to my stomach. Hang in there. My email is toniaiso@gmail.com if you have mire questions. -

I have surgery Tuesday morning at 7:30. I have had no fear until about an hour ago. I have a beautiful four year old little girl. I hope and pray the surgery goes well. She is my world. She is part of the reason that I am making this drastic decision. I want to live a long healthy life with her. I know she is in good hands with her father, my husband while I'm in the hospital. I just have this fear of not waking up from surgery and never seeing her again.

Thank you all for your support! It is so nice to have people who know what I'm going through. It means the world to me. Anyone who is scheduled t have surgery after me. please ask me any questions. I am here to support others also!

Hang in there. You can do this! I am having the sleeve on may 29. However I had the lap band in 2008, then had it removed in 2010. I remember crying because I was so hungry, or so I thought I was. After two years of eating, i cry due to the fact that being fat has caused me to be miserable. You can do this. Try sipping on warm tea or chicken or beef broth. Hang in there!

I hear your pain. When I first had the lap band I remember crying because I was so hungry. I was hoping with the sleeve that I would not feel the same hunger pains!

My name is Tonia and I am 35. I am a wife and mother. I had lap band surgery in 2008 and had to have it removed in 2010. I am scheduled for the sleeve May 29! I can't wait!
