If you start to eat more before your doctor appointment can you call and schedule sooner for a fill? I just wondered because with my doctor, NOW THIS IS JUST HOW MY DOCTOR DOES IT, I have to schedule an appointment 4weeks after each fill but during that 4 weeks if I find I am eating more than I should or getting hungry earlier than 3 hours after I eat I can call and schedule a fill and then reschedule my regular appointment for 4 weeks from that fill.

No it didn't take me anytime time at all to get set up. I had it up and going about an hour after I got it from the UPS man. I was in a hurry. LOL I totally love my display. I really think that part of it really keeps me in check because I see my numbers immediately instead of only when I plug the bugg into my computer. Otherwise for the first few days I was waiting until bedtime and then plugging my bugg in and noticing that I hadn't burned enough for the day and it was 10-11pm at night. Now I look all day long and if I notice I am kinda low on steps or calories burned I get up and move while watching my tv at night or talking on the phone. LOL My friend thought I was nuts last night because as I was talking to her on the phone watching Biggest Loser I was walking in place. I even worked up a sweat walking in place in the house in the middle of october!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL:faint:

Ok....I got the courage to change my avatar from my cute yorky dog to myself. I figure it is time to let some of the most important people in my life see how I look. DO NOT look at my hair!!!!! LOL I am in the stages of growing it out and it is terrible to try doing anything with it. The pictures it looks even worse because I did it this AM and it is now after a whole day of running around. Buying through 24 hour fitness you DO get the 3 month deal. If you are still a little weary give 24 hour fitness a call. I was really nervous buyng mine 3 weeks ago too because the price was so much less than other sites. I called 24 hour fitness and asked before I ordered if I still got everything that I would get if I ordered through apexfitness.com and they told me yes. I got the bugg and I have everything I would have gotten anywhere else for less more. The good thing for you if that now it is almost $100 less than what I paid 3 weeks ago and mine was on sale. UUGGHHHH That is ok though I don't regret it. By the way 24 hour fitness is the Version 2 (newest one) if you buy it online. Good luck!!

Suzzie- yes that includes the 3 months free and the 2 sessions. Have you considered getting the display watch also? I absolutely love my bugg and love being able to look at the display watch and see how many calories, steps and activity time I have at any given time. Just thought I would throw that in. Dini- CONGRATS on the 3 lbs. Girl you are so close to goal!!! Good for you!!! I made my appointment for my REfill. LOL I feel like all I do is go in for fills and now I have 1 UN fill also. I have had a total of 4 fills and 1 unfill now. I have 8.4 in my band. I finally got over the head thing. (I wanted to wait until after our Halloween Party to get a fill so I could enjoy myself eating) Honestly I wouldn't have enjoyed myself that way though. I would have eaten and most likely to muc hand then I would have felt guilty about what I ate. Now I hope I will be nice and snug and will eat but very little and then I will get out there and dance wen the DJ starts and BURN THOSE CALORIES!!!! LOL OK I think I am starting to lose it some. HAHA Last night I was watching one of my favorite TV shows and looked at my bodybugg display and noticed I still needed to burn 600 and some calories and walk almost 5000 steps. (I wasn't real active yesterday morning or afternoon) Anyway I got up and stood beside my recliner and walking in place vigorously for 1 hr and 27 minutes and I met my steps and all but 72 calories. This was at 9pm so by midnight I had met my calories burned target. All was good. THe family thought I was nuts!!!!!!!! HAHA They were all relaxed watching tv. I was pretty proud of myself though for holding myself accountable. I can say I was really cold before starting, we all had blankets covering us, and I was sweating and wiping my forehead while walking. Funny huh? I have a treadmill but it is in the garage and we just remodeled our whole house last fall and it went to the garage at the time because I didn't use it and now I have NO room for it in the house. DH is talking about setting up a tv for me in the garage to be able to watch while I walk this winter. We will see how far he gets on that. LOL

I have to say I LOVE MY BUGG!!!!!!! It really does motivate me. When I bought my bugg I also ordered the display. I love being able to see how many calories I burned at any time. Last night I had not moved around a whole lot yesterday and still have 800 calories to burn and almost 5000 steps so while I was watching my favorite TV shows I started walking vigorously in place in front of the TV. The family thought I was nuts but you know what?................I MET MY QUOTE and then some. LOL I am so motivated by this thing. This is really what I needed to get me going. I find myself moving my legs and arms alot just to keep active to move the counter. HAHA I park clear away from stores just so I have to walk to get to them. I have used my bugg faithfully for 3 weeks and just love it. I don't like having to enter in a lot of my foods because they arent in the food bank but I deal with it and do what I have to do. Good afternoon everyone. I just had a few minutes so wanted to check in. I am feeling much better since the unfill but DEFINATELY hungry alot. Damn!! LOL She was right....being 'backed up' must have made it too tight and now that problem is rectified (haha) now I am back to square one. Wish I would have known that before hand I would have just tried the milk of mag. That is ok though I would rather be safe than sorry. I am debating about calling this week for another slight fill or just waiting until after our Halloween party and going then for a fill. I want to be able to eat at this party but yet at the same time I feel like if I put off my fill just so I can eat more at this party then I am trying to 'cheat' my band. I don't need the food to have a good time. Those thoughts are the old Jackie comming through again. LOL I think I will call this week and see if I can get in for a fill like she told me. Do I sound like I am nuts?!? By the way. I noticed that alot of us on here have said we have the '10CC band'. Firday when I was talking to the PA she told me that there is not a 10CC band but rather a 10 CM (centimenter) band. All this time I have been freaked out because I had what sounded like a high amount of fill in my band thinking it was 10CC and I had 9.? CC after the last fill. I was so worried about 'topping out' even though she told me there was no way for someone to do that. I felt alot better after her correcting me on the CC and CM dilema and the over fill dilema. I just thought I would let others know that may be confused as well about the band. Bought a pinata for the little kids for this party last Wednesday. I didn't but the candy though because I just didn't want the temptation in the house. Today DH and I were in town and they had candy on sale so I told him 'lets buy it but only buy enough to put into the pinata so that we don't have much extra to temp me. (I buy healthy snacks for our house all the time so the family has snacks also just healthier than CANDY!) Anyway, the old Jackie popped in there also using her PRE-band eyes for judgement on how much candy we needed. We get home and mix all the candy and start filling the pinata. I BAUGHT WAY TOO MUCH CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UUUGGHHH LOL Oh well I need to get over it. I will keep telling myself if I absolutely think I HAVE to have a piece 1 every now and then is fine but if I gorge I am cheating no one but MYSELF!! Oh the dilema! HAHA Not a very good week to have the chocolate in the house anyway. Aunt flo will be visiting in about a week and I always seem to go on a feeding frenzy the week before. Janet I will need you to work double and triple shifts (as the food police) setting on my shoulder this week. If I pick it up slap my hand and yell NO!!! LOL Well gotta go read my book. I love reading VC Andrews books. I am on my second time around since I was a teen. Can't believe how much I had forgotten about them. LOL Hope you are all happy and good. P.S. The other day I told you all that our local news was having a segment on the Body Bugg. Had to tell you that they interviewed 2 doctors for hospitals in our area that are all for the bugg. The doctors said people are more honest when it is just them that is seeing their numbers and they realize how many calories they are actually eating and how long it takes to work those calories off. They also interviewed a few people at a local gym who have bought the bugg and these people said wonderful things about it as well and how it really holds them accountable. One women said she has lost 15 lbs in 6 weeks because she finds herself moving alot more just to watch the calories burned numbers go up. (you have to buy the display also to be able to see this at all times otherwise you would have to plug it into your computer to get your numbers). If anyone is interested though 24 hr fitness has the bugg on sale for $279 and free shipping and the display is around $70. I just wanted to let you know because I know a few have talked about it. I am not working for 24 hr fitness now. LOL:p

G-morning everyone. Lynette so nice to see you back. Sounds like your vacation was great!! I am soooo jealous of you and Kathy. I would love to go to Florida. I am feeling really good this morning. Slept really well last night. Unfortunately the awful hunger feeling is there. I am just going to try working with it for a while. I really hope I didn't get the fill for just the 'backed up' problem and now since I am not having plumbing problems I am not restricted enough. The doc told me that very well could be and did tell me that I would prob want a refill in a week or 2. LOVE MY BAND but she sure is a finicky thing. LOL Girls got a mind of her own!!! Well I better get. We are going to y sons state band competition today and we have to drive about 3 hours to get there. I need to get showered and dressed yet. Just got done cooking Breakfast for the family. I was wondering, does anyone else experience this. Whenever I eat breakfast it seems like it sets a trend for the whole day and I want to eat all day and even find that I am hungry (real hunger!) alot more. :omg:

Ok I am back from my UNfill. I feel so much better!!! My appointment was at 11:30 and by that time I felt a big ol' lump in my throat. Wasn't painful so I am thankful for that. Anyway after my fill the other day I had a total fill of 9.3cc (which I thought was alot but I guess not). She removed .9 cc today and I now have 8.4cc. This may be TMI but I am going to share anyway. After she was done unfilling a little she told me she could see that my colon was full. She asked if my bowels had been moving and I told her not the last 3 days and for about 4 days before that (sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!) I told her I usually drink benefiber in orange juice each morning but I haven't done it regularly for the past couple of weeks. She told me to take milk of mag today when I got home along with my OJ and benefiber and continue with the benefiber daily. She said that could be why my fill became so tight because it wasn't tight like that 2 days ago. She told me to clean myself out and see how I feel. She said I may need a tweek next week or the following week so if I do I can just call. Thank GOD my insurance is picking up the tab 100%. I met my out of pocket max for the year with the pre-surgery testing so they paid for the surgery and everything else medical the rest of the year at 100%. I hate to see January roll around because then I have to start that annual out of pocket max of $2000.00 again. :eek: It was like magic. I felt crappy and she stuck the needle in and had me swallow barium and it didn't go down well and she took some out and told me to swallow more barium and .....POOF!!!........just like that the lump and discomfort was gone and I felt fine. Thirsty but fine. LOL Feeling fine now. :whoo: Tired from last night but I will sleep well tonight.
