I've struggle with my weight for all of my adult years. I tried weight watchers for about a year and a half. I lost a whopping 18lbs! Weight watchers isn't cheap. I had never considered surgery until October 2011. I made a decision to at least have the conversation, I schedule 3 consultations. I didn't go to the other 2 because I felt comfortable with my surgeon. He sat and spoke with me & my husband, answered all of my husbands questions. I decided on the sleeve because it had less risks than the full bypass. Am I happy with my decision yet? I haven't been weighed & I don't own a scale. So I don't know. Liquids suck. I know that. But everyday is getting better. 4 days post surgery and I'm not napping, I moving very well. I'm careful, because I want to heal & I don't want to encourage setbacks. Anyway I will definitely be reporting in after my Dr.'s visit on 5/1/12.
