    before And after

From the album: Before and After

Hi fellow sleevers! Haven't been on in quite awhile., I just came across this picture from 2 years ago and figured I'd share my accomplishment....Since that "large" picture, I am down 69 lbs....27 lbs prior to surgery(took a yr to loose it) and 45 lbs since surgery date of July 17, 2012....I have 25 lbs more to go...its going very slow, but I've lost more Inches than weight, 46 inches....size 22 jeans to 14, shirts 2XL to Large/extra large, bra size was 44DD,, Now a comfortable 40D...I love my sleeve!!!!
  3. I know there have/are alot of posts about stalls., but I'm starting to get worried? I am 2 months post op today. I walk 3 miles 3 days a week and do aerobics 2 days a week for 3 weeks now....Here are my daily stats: Calories-between 800-900 daily, protein 70 grams, at least 64 oz of fluid and 40 grams of carbs...I have been "playing" with 2 lbs now for over 2 weeks., lost 26 lbs as of 2 weeks ago, and gained 2 lbs back a day later, and I have been fighting with just these 2 lbs! I have lost 30 1/2 inches., which has gotten me from size 20 to size 18 jeans and 1X shirt to a XL shirt....I'm extremely frustrated., and oh, BTW...i am totally obsessed with the scale, I know I know., get rid of it for a week at a time., I see soooo many others whom have hit at least 30 lbs same day as my surgery...should I up the calories or lower them or change something else? Any feedback would be awesome!
  4. Thanks Girls! I do only weight, once a day and that is one too many! anyway, thanks again...
  5. Wow! 40 lbs, that's awesome., I guess I just have to be patient? (one of my worst traits) Thank you for the post., it means alot.
  6. Awesome Job! I too., can cross my legs, What a great feeling it is! You have lost so much more than me and I'm 8 weeks., keep inspiring me!

    3 Months Post Op

Great job!!! I am 3 weeks and 3 days...can't wait to see 45lbs gone! I have gone to my MD, last week for blood work, check BP etc...I WAS type II diabetic, high blood pressure and high cholesterol...they are all normal! What a great feeling to not have to take 4 pills everyday for all this! I didn't expect them all to diminish sooo quick! Glad they did......keep up the good work and would love to see pics of you! keep in touch

    Unjury Powder?

Vikkic, Hi! I use the Unjury, and I really like it! I buy a canister(I think its 21.95) Vanilla and I use a variety of things to mix with it. (i always use skim milk) 1 tsp peanut butter and 1/4 of mashed bananna.....ummm, I also, delute about 1tsp instant coffee in warm water then add that for coffee flavor and my favor is adding a tsp of sugar-free instant pudding. I have a single sized blender I use and it mixes it up really great and make sure after its done mixing, add ice cubes to your glass, it makes it a little thicker! Hope this helps you, PS-unflavored is great too with the above concoctions too...I just tend to like the vanilla flavor with them all...
  9. Please Please Please, do not back out! I (like everyone else) has gone through this!!! Your emotions are very out of whack by this point! My recovery was sooo smooth and I thought the same as you, and here I am 3 weeks and off all of my meds as of today, forgot about the surgery already! Really, you will get through this! Be strong and think about all the good things that will come out of this, they will outweigh the bad! Good Luck and God Bless!

Will I wake up one morning and 3 lbs just leaves? I need a little hope here, as, I have been able to add a few more food choices which Im wondering if because I am eating and everything is going down and staying great! Hope I make sense to someone out there?? lol

    Two Week Post Surgery Diet

I used skim milk, which gave an extra 9 grams of protein...I first used half water and 1/2 skim, just to be sure It agreed with me, then the second one, I used 8 oz skim( i use the Unjury protein shakes) Good luck!

How Do I Know When I Am Full?

Hi! I just got out of hospital yesterday, I was sleeved on Tuesday...I was having issues myself, same as you, I found that when i had anything cold, that cramped me up, and had extreme pain right under my breasts! I found that sipping on room temperature water/diet snapple/apple juice and unjury chicken broth, settled real nice...i wanted Ice Water a few minutes ago, took 2 sips, and Wham! my sleeve didn't like it at all! But I am sooo thirsty and I'm dying for a sip of Coffee!! Hope you feel better, try room temp drinks for today, see how that works for ya!
  19. Flipflop....I have found myself doing this!! My surgery is on July 17th, and since I found out, I'm looking at EVERYTHING and eating it saying" This will be the last time I get to eat this" and I eat it with that outlook! I have put on 4 lbs since my first visit with my surgeon 2 months ago. I can feel it too! I usually always eat "low carb", but for the last week and a half, I'm eating everything! Very disgusted in myself, to say the least, I don't have any preop diet prior to surgery, but I am certainly keeping it low carb until day of surgery as I realized I am doing this to myself, I Surrender! LOL
