I did talk to my GP and he said that with my blood condition it would be easy to Creatively mark it up to make it look like a diet program...I had my best blood test ever last month too!!! Plus, the fact that I have been on Xenical and Meridia for a couple years helps too. I know that it is wrong but, so is making me jump through hoops that I can't get through because I am to fat!@!@! I have been on a special diet since 1995 and they are telling me that I have to do a 12 week diet to qualify. My GP said that what I have done to get my blood levels down is more than enough to qualify as a dietary requirement. Believe me honey I don't need anymore medical testing. I have things that have been tested so much they glow

I am trying to get the approval to be banded. I think that I am going to get the run around. Has anyone had to do a 12 week supervised diet? To be approved for surgery. Now there are telling me that I have to have a Psyche Eval. I am going to have to change my life, I am going to have to control my eating,,,, NO SHIT! I would not be doing this if I could be trusted around food!! My stomach is like a dog, if it is not on a leash it will run and run and run........... They are also trying to tell me that my BMI has to be over 40. when I am at 37.8 right now. I think that this is going to turn into a horror story, maybe I should just give up.

I am a fan of sweets too and have a hard time statying away. So I go for the sugar free and low carb stuff. It really gets me over the hump. But with the holidays coming up I am sure that we will be having sugar shock....

I heard it gets really hot there and I sweat so much because of my fluff, I could never go there. After I get banded I will use the money I save from buying food to go!!! I want to be one of those people who bitches it is too cold when it is 70* and sunny.

I saw this article and thought that banders would like to read it............. I am still waiting for my approval and have been stressin on the whole process. I think that this forum is awsome but I am scared just the same. I am hoping to hear something this week....

I feel positive about my visit, the Dr. said that I am a good subject for the band. So now I wait.............

what is that all about? What do they ask you?

does it take for the appoval process? I wanted to have it done before Thanksgiving.

Thanks to all of you who sent replies to my questions. Jack how old are you??? I am 33. I love to eat and am worried about not getting to eat anymore. But I know that I need to get rid is this shed I am building over my feet..... I have been over weight since I was a child and think that it is time to let that kid do some of the things that I never let him do. I think that I am scared that I am not going to be able to quit if I want,because once it is in you are pretty much commited. But I guess quitting got me where I am right now.....................
