7 Weeks Out - How Many Calories Do You Eat Each Day?
Rochelle2012 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 7 weeks out and my dietitian told me I should only be eating 600-800 calories per day? Plus the 60-80 grams of protein. How many calories are you eating per day? I logged about 900 today and I'm eating healthy and getting 70 grams or protein. -
7 Weeks Out - How Many Calories Do You Eat Each Day?

I'm a major water person so I get about 72 or more ounces of water a day. I've lost 35 pounds but 10 of it was before surgery. I just joined a female fitness club and that seems to help with my hunger. Looks like you are doing great! Congratulations on your weight loss! My weight loss is slow too but I'm okay with that, as long as it stays off!! -

I was sleeved April 20th. I'm done 30 pounds but I lost 10 before surgery. I'm at a stall and frustrated. I get my protein and water in daily, take two multi vitamins and calcium daily. I'm having a hard time exercising because my knees are bad. I can sure feel the difference in my clothes. It's great to see how others are doing. I'm thankful for this site and all of you!! -
Why My Size Is The Same
Rochelle2012 replied to daly contreras's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So glad to read your post as I've been feeling the same way. I'm 3 weeks post-op and have lost 30 pounds. Everyone keeps telling me they can really tell I've lost weight and I can see it in my face but I'm still in the same pant size. Keeps me positive to think others are feeling the same way. I guess I'm just anxious to be in a smaller size! LOL -
I totally understand. I could have sworn I could smell pizza and french toast on my first week. But then again I was watching a lot of TV since I was off from work and every other dumb commercial was about food. But it did pass and now that I'm in week three I'm just excited to be able to eat "real" food like eggs and chicken! Hang in there, it's worth it!
