Jthurman, you are the bomb! I never thought about the ramen packets. That is so smart! -
It was amazing to see that basically everyone, including celebrities are having trouble keeping the weight off. As much as I love Jennifer Hudson, I knew they provided her a personal chef, nutritionist and trainer for weight watchers. That is unfair, because we think we can follow the diet with a point system. Also, I don't watch shows like Biggest Loser, because who has six months to take off of work to lose weight? So wrong.

That is amazing! Maybe if some of these doctors are threatened with jail time, like Michael Jackson's doctor, they would rethink having extra training or doing procedures they are not experienced with.

I am sitting here eating popsicles from Wal-Mart. They are called "Budgetsaver popsicles". They have different flavors in the sugar free version, which are 30 calories. They are good. Also, Panara's Bread French Onion soup is 210 calories. -
So ABC news story tonight was about 1-800-GET-THIN and how they have killed six of their patients with lap band surgery. Now I was good until that story.

You guys are so awesome. This is all really helpful. I heard dry meat is a killer. I am a huge smoker of BBQ meat, so that is interesting about pork. MamaBear, awesome stuff. Thanks.

My doctor told me today that the backup plan is gastric bypass, if he makes a mistake with the stapling gun. Have you seen this happen? He said he only had to do this once when a patient couldn't swallow food after four months.

I told the doctor today before I see him on Monday at 8:30 am that I do not want to die. He said he has a problem with death, too. I hope that is true. I will let you know on Tuesday. -

Thanks. You gave me an idea: sucking the BBQ sauce off of a rib. huh? I might have to do that after surgery. BBQ and movie popcorn are two things I will go to my grave eating, just not a lot after May 14. -
