That catheter hurt the worst of everything and it continue to have my pee burn for two days.

I am a little over 24 hours post op and I am getting gas pains from an ounce of chicken soup. So I feel your pain.

I hated Bariactric Advantage, so I went to GNC on the recommendation of someone in this forum and got GNC Total Lean shake. YUMMY! So you have to try out different ones.

Surgery in a few hours. I feel like Rod Blagovich giving up all worldly possessions and going into jail, not knowing when I will be released. I gave up my wedding ring, but my iPad is hard. When I wake up, I will be 50 cent with three bullet wounds and a stab wound. Update you tomorrow! I am ready for a new life!

I am good, just a little sore and not allowed to drink or eat anything. I pushed myself to sit in the chair and the nurses loved it. The catheter is not so bad and they numbed the area where the drain is at. I feel good, but my shoulder is killing me from the air pumped in. I couldn't have gotten through this without all of you! Your advice was invaluable. Everyone that is still a pre-op use this forum to help you, because it helped me. I will continue to use it for my success in the future!

I guess you were a cheap dinner date! LOL! That is awesome. I have never heard of a doctor taking out his patient. I haven't spent more than 30 minutes with my doctor. Inspiring!

If you are diabetic, the doctor will allow you to have a meal.

Magnesium Citrate is what my doctor had me drink at 10 a.m. Walgreens has a Walgreens brand. It definitely sucks, but I haven't been bound to the toilet, as I was on clear liquids the last two weeks with a dinner.

26 pounds in two weeks! I can't believe a liquid diet helped me drop that much. Well, I just drank that Citrus drink. We will see what happens!

OK. Post-ops, Do you mind if I learn from your mistakes? What mistakes did you make? I know I shouldn't eat and drink at the same time, but is there other advice? I am about to make one and go to Disney World in a month, but I am willing to risk it.

We are together. They moved my surgery up to 7:30 a.m. and I have to be there at 5:30 a.m. So Good luck! Don't be nervous, you will do just fine!

I ended up telling everyone, simply for the fact that my wife told her mother. By telling her mother, she gossips and tells everyone's business, including the part of the family I don't care for very much. So I figured if those people knew than everyone I cared about should know. So I posted it on Facebook. When I lost weight before, people thought I had the surgery. So what does it matter. Also, people who shared that they had the surgery helped me with this decision. Honestly, you can't really fool anybody that you lost weight on your own. Everyone knows Star Jones and Al Rocker had the surgery. Should it be embarrassing that you are trying to help yourself?

Monday at 7:30. I am nervous. I start my cleanse tomorrow. God help me! I am still congested. I hope it passes by tomorrow.
