o.k. So I am barely 2 weeks post-op and all last week I have been walking 1.5-2.0 speed walking. Yesterday, after 2.0 miles I felt faint. I try not to gulp my water, but I drink about half a bottle in 2.0. Is anyone else having this problem? I am enjoying not having sciactica prohibit me from walking a mile, but am I over doing it?

I am almost two weeks post op and all the salads I am barely holding down. Tuna, chicken, seafood salad, etc. strangely, I ate a piece of chicken and a small sausage topping off a pizza and chew it well and it felt good.

I am taking Optisource from Walgreens. It is made for bariatric patients and has everything I need. I take four chewables pills a day. Is Optisource overkill? I like them, but it is $27.00 a bottle. -

After six weeks of being a good boy, I am ready for a little bad stuff. Do you know any places? I heard Slater's 50/50 has bacon. -

Hello pre-opers, I am nine post-op and I have lost 40 pounds in 22 days! That is right. My plan is to lose 50 pounds in a month. So is it worth it? YES!!!!!!! At the same time, I have this online forum, a monthly support group and I am exercising. So it is not foolproof, I have found you have to put some work into it. Believe in yourself!

Please read my blog on this. It was too funny for me. For others, it was serious, because some people have to figure out why they overeat or if they will be able to deal with not losing over 100 pounds. I know why I over eat and I refuse not to lose 100 pounds!

Who To Tell And Not Tell....
disneyteach replied to kmoore's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The thing is you can't expect WLS to be taken seriously, if no one is willing to stand up and be proud of it. Honestly, once you say you have had it, other people might follow your example or want to talk to you about it. I would be worried if people didn't know I went through drastic changes, because that means you were unsuccessful in losing weight. I am waiting for that shocked stare from everyone that says "Holy crap, you lost a lot of weight." Don't worry about telling people, because if you are successful, they will know something is up. -
