Well, as of Monday I will be 60 days post op. I have gone thru one two week stall and over all I have lost 39 lbs as of today. I feel slightly disappointed in myself that I havent lost more. There is a lady that had her surgery the same day as mine and she has lost over 60 lbs so far. Between work and home I am too dang tired to make it to the gym; I have been once sinc surgery. I will admidt the inches are coming off. My favorite shirts are very baggy, my boobs dont suffocate me when I wear a good bra...lol The jeans are getting looser and I got into a pair of jeans that I had not worn in a year and there was no muffin top. They still felt snug in areas but were sort of baggy in the back side. I realize these are samll scale victories, but I was really hopeing for something more life changing. We are set to go to the beach for a week in 15 days. I was hopeing to be able to get the luxery of buying a new bathing suit before we go. But, the old one from last year still fits ok. The top is a little looser in the waist and the swim shorts are looser too. Is anyone feeling like I am? I feel as if I am not on track were I should be. I told myself this morning I was only 100 lbs away from my goal weight; but honestly I would love to just be under 200. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help.

I am new here and this will be my first offical post! I was sleeved on 3/28/12 and was loosing an average of 1 lb a day, after the inital Water weight for the hospital came off. As of today, including the pre surgery loss, I am down 29 lbs. I came back to work on the 18th of this month and the weight loss has not been consistant. One day I am up and I will loose it at night, but I am hoovering around the same weight as I had been the day before. Last night I weighed before I went to bed and I was up two pounds. TWO POUNDS? I am not cheating, where did these come from? Is this part of the imfamous stall that I have heard so much about? I have been walking about 3 blocks in the evenings, when time permits. I am getting in all of my Proteins, but not enough water. Does anyone have any suggestions?

One Month Out!
I WONT MISS ME replied to susiegotsleeved's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can eat about a 1/4 cup and then I am full. Any more than that and it hurts and makes me ill. I think this is the first time in my life I actually know what full is before it gets to that painful stage. The hardest thing has been is to eat out and see all of the wasted food still on my plate. At lunch I have been bringing back the left overs to my coworkers. lol I eat the Dannon Greek Yogurt for Breakfast and maybe a Protein drink in before lunch. I too am having a hard time getting all of my fluids in. Totay I have had maybe 20oz so far. It is tiresome but its gonna be worth it in the end. -
Did You Insurance Pay For Band To Sleeve Revision?
I WONT MISS ME replied to Gigi_Girl's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Yes, I have United Health Care. I had scare tissue and had not lost any weight in over a year. They paid for everything but the $1k deductable. I had to jump through hoops, 6 monthly visits with a nutritionist and a psych evaluation. But, it was all worth it in the end! -
Your doing great~! I had my surgery the day after yours and I am down 31 lbs as of this morning. And that is only after taking my water pill because apparently I am still retaining fluds. Keep up the good work. Are you onto solids yet or are you still in the pureed stage?

Sleeved 3/28/12

Ok, so I figured out what was causing the weight flux. I was still retaining Water and hadn't gone to the bathroom properly. As of this morning I am back down 2 lbs and back on track of where I wanted to be. I am eating some solids with no problems. I have to chew, chew, chew. I was never really able to get refried Beans down and I am afraid to try oatmeal yet. But, lunch has been a peice of rolled up turkey with cheese and a couple of triscuits. Breakfast has still been yogurt and maybe a Protein shake. And dinner has been a lighter version of whatever the family is having or I have a yogurt.
