Lucky # Sevens- July 07 Bandsters

I ordered some samples of protein shakes and other stuff from Bariatriceating.com. My order should be in tomorrow or Thursday. I can't wait to start playing. As for pain meds, I am allergic to Percocet. I found that out after I had my breast reduction. That was not fun at all.

    Any more Waldorfians out there?

Big Silly, From what I know, we will have to eat bite sizes from here on out and we won't be able to drink while we eat. I know I chose the LapBand over GB b/c: LB is less invasive LB doesn't involve the rearrangement of my insides LB is reversible (if necessary) LB allows you to be in control of your wt loss (thanks to fills/unfills) LB doesn't interfere w/the absorption of nutrients (this is important b/c I will want to get prego one day) LB is prego-friendly...I will just need to get an unfill Before the LapBand, I would not have even considered wt loss surgery. E'thing else is just too drastic and invasive.

    Any more Waldorfians out there?

I, too, am a member of the 'Big Boned' Club...at least that's what others say about me. I just can't wait to get this excess weight off and not be in pain (knees)...not be outta breath while walking short distances...not shopping in plus-size stores and paying extra for big girl clothes...not being self-conscious, wondering if my gut is showing...mmmm I could go on and on. LOL!!! If you can't tell, I am extremely excited about being banded. Jul 25th can't get here fast enough!!!

Hallelujah!!! God is so good!!! He will provide for us. Remember I asked y'all to pray for my finances? Well, I got approved for a personal loan and will be able to take care of a few unexpected expenses that came up. I could cry right now. He is Jehovah Jireh, The Lord God Our Provider. Why did I even doubt??? He is so good to me and He has never let me down before. I want to shout it from the mountaintops how good He is!!!! What an awesome and mighty God we serve. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Woohooooooo!!!!!!!

You're doing a good job w/the advertising! LOL! I was thinking it was a little expensive, but sounds like it would be worth it.

    A Little Morbid???

Check out this website: What is a LifeGem? - www.LifeGem.com Memorial Diamond I understand what they're trying to do...memorialize their loved ones, but I can't imagine getting one of these. It seems weird to me.
  17. *I posted this in another area, but it didn't get much response, so I moved it here.* All, I just need a bit of clarification. When speaking of gas pain, do you mean gastrointestinal pain--stomach cramps, bloated feeling, etc... OR pain from the gas used during the procedure? OR Both? And does the gas used during the procedure cause the shoulder pain I've read so much about? Thanks!<!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

LOL! A fake milkshake, huh? I may have to try that. I'm going to order some samples from Netrition.com - The Internet's Premier Nutrition Superstore! and www.bariatriceating.com From what I understand, netrition.com is cheaper. I guess I'll find out real soon.

Wow. So you have a good jumpstart on us soon-to-be bandsters. At least we know who to come to w/any long-term banding questions. I believe that God has blessed me, too, w/this procedure. I know that He wants me to be healthy and have an abundant life. I look forward to starting my journey. It seems it can't get here soon enough!!!
