I started my preop diet today voluntarily. I'm a month away from my surgery date. I had a chile coffee protein drink for breakfast, lunch a chile chocolate bliss sandwich and boiled egg, another boiled egg at about 3, and a grilled chicken from dairy queen for supper. Right under 900 calories and no gluten. Can I do it again tomorrow? We shall see!

SUPER PISSED!!! I told my husband in the beginning of my final decision that I DID NOT want his family to know about my weight loss surgery I'm going to have. I feel like I haven't been accepted at my worst, then they don't deserve me at my best. Anyway...we were just talking about the subject again, and I reiterated to him I DID NOT WANT THEM TO KNOW. IT'S NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS AND NOT HIS PLACE TO TELL THEM! He already did...two weeks ago! M A DDD!!

I just used my BMI calculator and at 155, you will be at the "top" of the healthy/not overweight BMI. I would set mini goals. 250, then "onederland" (under 200) then maybe 165, and see how YOU feel. It's still "overweight, but not obese. I'm setting my short term to get under 200, then 10 lbs at a time. Would love to get to 160, but even better if I can do 140. I'm 41, large bones, but 5'4". Surgery scheduled for 8/23/2012.

That's what I wanted to be when I grew up! Now I live where we don't even HAVE an ice rink, and my size 7 skates are too tight! Would love to have them sharpened, and for them to fit again...and use them!

So I haven't bought any "goal outfit" or anything...but recently I got a $40 check from Lane Bryant. I didnt want to buy anything for now, so decided to get something in the smallest size they sell. Man, did I do good! There was a cute dress, size 14 on the sale rack for $44.99. I get to the register and was told the sale rack is 50% off right now, so I go get another dress. My grand total including tax? $42.48. I only had to pay $2.48 for 2 cute dresses! Hoping to be able to wear them by 2013 spring. That's not my final goal though! I want to not be able to shop in ANY woman's stores!

Im worried about migraines post op as well as the only OTC that helps is excedrin migraine (generic of course since you can't get the real thing anymore). You can get someone to rub very hard right at the bottom of your head. It will hurt kind of, but then it's a good pain, and helps the coming migraine.

I have only pj's, robe, panties, soft bra, and maxi dresses that I'm bringing with close toed shoes, so you won't be able to see the compression hose, and I'll be very comfortable!

Good question. I would like to know as well. My return flight is around noon on a Monday.
