... The nurse practitioner is great. Her name is Val. They hospital is awesome... Not pulling your leg. Everyone was so supportive and helpful. It is a dramatic experience like no other but well worth it. Be sure to walk like your life depends on it. Every chance you get walk. Do all you cab while in the hospital and all the say. I didn't do either and made excuses so when I came home I had a hard time adjusting. Good luck hun. Meka

Foxy thank you... in not sure... Letsdothis I was very sick in the beginning and I believe that had a lot to do with the weight loss. I'm averaging about 3 lbs a week. The doc says my metabolism has picked up... Meka

I am a teacher. I returned to work 42 lbs down 5 weeks out. Most people were happy for me and my loss but 2 are real nosey and asking major questions. One bad the audacity to send me an email asking me what did I do and was I on crack... Mind you I only went from a 26 to a 24... Not a huge difference and no new clothes.... People are too funny! My doc said it was acid reflux as well as throat and stomach irritation. He prescribed prilosec and a liquid to take 4 times a day for swelling. Ive been on the meds for over a week of has been awesome! What a relief! Meka

My doc said do dark meat instead of white. Try making chicken salad if you must have white meat. Meka -

My husband is so supportive. He has been more positive than I am many days. I'm only 3 weeks. I'll be 4 on Wednesday. I don't think I would be doing as good without the support from my husband. Meka
