When do you have yours Debly? I talked to Omar on Friday and he emailed me on Saturday, yesterday. Such a nice person and talks wonderful English! After seeing Dr. Kelly's name here is when I started doing as much research on him as possible and I feel very comfortable with the decision. I will go to his facebook now, thank you very much.

I'm so glad to hear this. My niece and I will be going to Dr. Kelly on the 23rd of April. We are very excited. I'm having the lapband revision to sleeve and her the sleeve. I'm wondering if I'll be any more sore than normal since I'm having 1/2 hours more work done. Dr. Kelly called and talked a bit and seem like a very nice man. It's nice to hear positive information from his previous patients. Make my nerves a little calmer. You are doing great! Thanks for the info. I remember having the lapband done and getting the dreaded gas pain in my left shoulder that was so miserable from that but I'll have a heating pad just in case...I was up and shopping and went to the beach there and then a movie on day 3 and 4! Hope it's that good this time too.

Who did your sleeve? I'm just now looking into having the band out and sleeve and didn't know that could happen. I'm going to Tijuana and was thinking Dr. Garcia but really don't want that to happen to me. Is that who you used? I'm sorry to hear that.

Hi, my name is Jeanie and I'm new here. I'm glad I'm reading this because it is all I was going to ask. I have a band and am now researching having it removed and the sleeve done. I know I'm going to do it and pray it won't have to be done in two surgeries as I'm self paying. But what ever needs to be done I'll do it. Lots of good information here. It's been about 6 years I think for me also and I had it done in Tijuana and will also have this one done there. I want to feel full not just pain. I had lost 90 pounds only had 10 to go to get to my goal but now I've gained 40+ back. I don't want one more fill so as of tomorrow I'm going to start calling places down there. Is there any that are the BEST does any one know? I'm thinking Dr. Garcia? Are there others for me to consider that could be recommended here? How much extra do they charge to take the band out? thanks for this thread and I wish you the best.
