bread pasta and pizza will expand. If I am craving pasta I overcook it and onlly eat 1oz portion and it still takes me forever to eat it. I either add clams or chicken for the protein. Pizza still bothers me. I eat the topping off of it and that is it. I have not eaten one piece of bread since surgery

work as an ER nurse. took 4 weeks off due to the fact we lift over 50 lbs and I wasnt taking any chances -
tried popcorn aprox 3 months post op.

it is not a soft food at all. but it is a slider food for me personally.

chantix.... chantix... chantix !!!! One of the major side effects is the vivid dream that you cann have (nightmares) I found out if I took my first pill in the morning and the other at lunchtime I was able to sleep much better. -
I drink decaf iced coffee almost every day. I love the flavor. no issues at all !!!

I eat tomato & cucumbers almost every day. low cal, low fat.... I either add chicken to it or tuna with some flavored balsamic vinegar

100 calories and onlly 2G of fat is good. if you can afford all those carbs and very little protein content then go for it.

magic bullet will be fine. I would grill up a portabelle mushroom and blend it in FF cream of mushroom soup. adds lots of flavor.

husband has been approved also for the sleeve and we are going on a 3 week cruise in October. He has decided to have it done after he comes back. going on a cruise even 3 months post-op trying to find options to eat might be difficult. I plan on taking my blender and Protein powder. -
I have been buying the rotisirre chicken from sams club. 6.00 moist & juice and it lasts me ALL week. also if is on the dry side. add some salsa or low carb bbq sauce to it.

took me 3 weeks to get out of that stall. so frustrating. you body is adjusting to all your things. keep calm. stay on plan and it will pass. -
been afraid to try them. in new england we have quahogs (yes from the family guy) and you eat the raw with no chewing. I am sure that they are high in protein. but to have to chew them kind of turns me off

lobster, crabs, scallops, chopped clams no issues with any of them. the great thing is I bought a 1 1/2lb lobster a few weeks ago and could only eat the tail and I was full. pre-sleeve. i would of had a 3lb lobster, corn on the cob, potato, chowder and maybe some clam cakes to go with it. -

when I was on weight watchers. I plugged the numbers into their app and even if I used 1000 sprays it would still be a 0 point food. so I would say go for it. as long as it is not an everyday thing -
never had acid reflux untill I had surgery. I was so bad that I had to sleep sitting up at night. dr put me on dexilant once a day. (program right now that it will only cost 20/month) and it is GONE. I have tried to go without it and if I dont take it for even a day I can fell it. They say you can have it up to the first year. good luck

dont worry... start working on chewing your food and nothing to drink before & after. after your surgery you wont be able to eat fast and will have to take smaller bites

go to eggfaces website and she has it all there. I bought a cuisanart ice cream maker (no salt/no hand cranking) and I have ice cream in under 30 minutes. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2008/08/protein-ice-cream.html http://www.cuisinart.com/products/ice_cream/ice-30bc.html they have a cheaper one for 59.00 but I can make a double batch in this one. biggest hint is you have to whip the protein mixture to the point that it looks like marshmallow fluff before you add it into the ice cream maker -

I have a Protein shake for breakfast 45g 3oz chicken 17g tuna pouch 18g homemade protein ice cream 10g That is a total of 90g of protein per day. I add other stuff to it also like veggies. but I always have my shake in the morning, chicken for either lunch or dinner and another type of protein for the other meal (meatballs, lasagna cupcake, taco salad) I always end my day with homemade protein ice cream. I try to get a minimum of 80g per day in. adding pamesean cheese increases your protein with just a small amount. -
Yes .... we all have slider foods and try to avoid the LIKE THE PLAGUE !!! . for me it is popcorn and cheesepuffs.
