Congrats to you Penni! Keep up the great work girl!

I'm totally opposite of that Paula. I gladly shuck too large clothes out the door and do a jig while I do it. LOL I can't wait to sell off the last remnants of my largest sized clothes on Ebay.

You go girl! You look fantastic and deserve the compliments! I'm glad that you're having the time of your life there. Keep having a great time!

No way. Don't delete. I wasn't feeling well when I typed that, and was very tired too! When I'm in that state of mind it doesn't take much to get my stomach turning. I don't want anyone to think that their posts bother me to that point. It's free speech here.......right?!?!

Congrats on the weightloss Jamie! Go girl GO!!!!

This thread is turning me green. :sick Not too sure about eating these. They sound yucky, but I'd be willing to try them once. I'll try anything once. No head sucking from this girlie though! Yecht!!!

I'm from the North so I have no idea what this tastes like. I'll have to try it some day if I get a chance to travel. What does it taste like? Anybody? Anybody?

I'm so happy that you're happy! I love my surgeon and her assistant too, and wouldn't change docs for the world! -
Keep your chin up! We all have those kinds of days.

Ah jeez! You got me!
-
Congratulations Vera! I'm so happy that you got exactly what you wanted! Woohoo!

I would be careful with the Matzo. Maybe if you break it up into tiny pieces that'll help, but I'd go easy on it. I'd also just take my time on making healthy choices and eating slowly. I think if you follow those 2 guidlines, you'll do just fine! Good luck!

What incredible news! I'm so excited for you! And I agree - that's the best NSV I've EVER heard on this board!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Erratic Worlock? I think not!

Welcome to the site! All insurance companies have a code for the LapBand procedure. You'll need to call your surgeon and find out what that code is and they'll let you know. I'm not sure if it's the same code for everyone/every doctor, or if it varies from doctor to doctor, state to state, insurance co. to insurance co., you get my drift. I'd just call your surgeon's office and they'll let you know the number for sure. Best of luck to you!

They won't let you mix it with milk? I have the same exact stuff and tried it with Water and about gagged! But when I mix it with milk it tastes fine to me. I just make sure that I use 1% or 1/2% milk to mix it with. I don't see why they'd have a problem with that? Good luck to you, and hopefully you'll adjust to everything ok. I agree that it was nasty of them to spring this on you so suddenly and not let you know ahead of time. That would suck!

Not sure how I missed this thread initially, but thank you for starting it Jamie! We love smoothies around here in the summertime, and now that it's warming up, I'll probably make the first one that Trish's dietician gave her. That sounds great! (So thanks for posting that too Trish!) Great thread!
