Update... Worst week ever. (Long)
dylansmom replied to Oh 2 Be Free's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
So glad to hear that you are feeling better now. That must've been so scary. I know what it feels like to be so dehydrated that you just want to die, and that's when your mind caves in on you and all you can do is cry. Keep getting better, and glad to see you're back in commission girl! -
I start my Tae Kwon-Do class tonight. I'm excited and scared all at once. I don't like exercising in front of people, but I know that it will be good for me. It'll help me to meet new people, give a boost to my self confidence, give me a good workout, and also help me learn a little extra self discipline. I'll let everyone know what I think tomorrow.

Thanks for the laugh!

I'm pretty sure there was another thread about this a while back. The general consensus was that it gave most of us the greasy nasty oily craps. How does crapping yourself on your couch sound? Happened to me while taking Xenical. So I'd say - thanks, but no thanks.

I have to admit that it's already gettin better for us and I desire more of it. I was wondering if it was just me, but I see that it's not. Wahoo weightloss!
-
I guess I should be wondering this myself. I haven't really lost enough yet to make a difference, but when I do, I have 3 tattoos. One on my arm, one on my wrist, and one on my ankle. I guess time will tell, eh?

Too cute! Makes me want a little girl!

I LOVE this thread because it rings so true for me. I had a guy come through my line at Walmart the other night and flirt with me - and I honestly didn't know how to respond. I was all flustered and the only thing I could do was shut him down. I basically said that I have been married for 10 years and have a 2 1/2 year old son and that they are enough for me. I just didn't know what else to say. It was so weird for me. The joy of being alive - I can deal with. Experiencing new and exciting things in my life - I can deal with. But having guys flirting with me - don't even go there bubba!

That is SO COOL!!!!!!! What a sweet hubby you have!

It has changed me, but only in positive ways. I value my life more, I take better care of myself, I have learned to speak up for myself when I feel that I have been wronged, I have learned to take life by the horns and live each day with a heart full of kindness/love/compassion/and joy! And for once in my life I truly have goals! In the words of Nike........ "Just Do It!"

I have heard opinions from both sides of the story. I've heard some people say that too much Water can be hard on your kidneys. I've also heard that you HAVE to get in your 64 Fluid ounces daily. Personally, I've noticed that since being banded I require more water. Even in the wintertime. If I get in at least the 64 ounces and just use that as a guideline, then I do not get that hot flash and faint feeling like I'm going to pass out. I also noticed that I have more energy and feel a little peppier too.

After a braindead day of work I didn't realize that you said you got the 300M! That is my dream car! And I see that you got it in the pearloid color that I have fantasized about too! Now I'm really excited and happy for you, because I know just how beautiful that car really is! You go girl! I cannot believe how fantastic you look too. For going it alone and without your band, you sure are doing one heck of a job. In the words of Adam Sandler as Billy Madison, you look "quacktastic"!

Please consider yourself hugged. You poor poor thing.

What an awesome topic thread. I too am a born again Christian. I prayed very hard and long before making the decision to have the LapBand surgery done. I felt that it was God's will for me to have it done, so that's when I decided to go ahead with it. I love what PhotoNut said in her initial post. I ditto it.

Penni, You are so right. I have found that the more I pray and ask God for something, the more often I receive those things which I desire. You are sooooooo smart!!!!!!

I saw those in Walmart and wondered what they were. I was in a hurry though and never checked it out. I'll have to try them next time we go shopping. I also have started taking the "Fiber Choice" tablets now too, and have had much better luck with those than the Benefiber. They cost about the same and are working way better for me.

Congratulations!!! How exciting that must be to have a brand new vehicle! Also so glad to hear that you had a good time at the concert. Their new lead singer is hot hot HOT!!! He is the one that I was hoping would get the gig.

Please get better soon! I hope that you make a full recovery!

Agreed. I still stand by my old motto of, "Everything in moderation.". It has never failed me yet. -
I just saw this in the Kmart flier and was going to check it out tomorrow. I was going to see if Walmart has it too, and then possibly get it. I lost my favorite Jane Fonda aerobic video back in the summertime, and thought about giving this a try. Do you like the workout that it gives? Is it fun and high energy? I really need something that will give me a good workout and help me sweat and burn calories. Thanks for any reviews that you can give me about it. Sorry I cannot help you out with your question.

You have beautiful sparkly eyes, and beautiful sparkly hair, and a smile that lights up my life! - Not to mention a fabulous attitude to boot! Keep it up girl!

I'd look on Ebay Lisa. I know that I have gotten some pretty good deals on there before, in lumberjack sizes none-the-less. :cake:

Good luck to you, and don't worry about what other people think. You have to do what is right for you. You obviously deserve it after working so hard to lose your weight and now giving up smoking. GOOD FOR YOU!!! I am VERY excited for you! -
Good for you girl!

Crossin it all ova he-ah for you too. I love you girl!
