raging anger and completly discouraged, who me?
dylansmom replied to vinesqueen's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I'm glad that you didn't leave. You've supported me countless times, and have always done it with a smile. You're one of the most selfless and caring individuals on this board, and WE NEED YOU HERE!!! I feel your pain about the numbers not moving. Even when I was exercising 4 days/week and eating a healthful vegetarian diet, those dang numbers wouldn't move more than a pound below what I am at right now. It's frustrating, infuriating, and downright tisses me off sometimes - but then I stop to think about how far I have come from my heaviest weight. I think about how I can chase my son around without thinking that I'm going to drop over dead, and I think about how I am at least one size smaller than what I used to be. Keep reminding yourself of how far you've come, and it'll help keep your mind off of how far you have to go. (I have to give myself this pep talk ALL OF THE TIME!) Good luck my sweets. I know this journey isn't an easy one, but the important thing is that we are doing it, and we are better people for that reason. Lots of Love to You! -
setting up a clothing exchange....

I have a bunch of size 28/30s that I am giving away too. There is a woman in my church who I'm passing everything along to. I do have some really nice clothes that I know wouldn't fit her though, and am wondering if I should put those Ebay, or just pass them along to someone on here? I'm currently in 26/28s, and the ones I'd be giving away are more 28/30W. -
Oh look at her! She is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

Yep *sheepishly raising hand from corner* I've had a sweet tooth lately too. I'm trying hard to eat fruit when it pops up on me. Something about the summer and the yummy ice creams and popsicles always get to me.

I couldn't remember if I had ever posted these like I promised to a while back, so here they are! Here are the flowers that grow along our fenceline. They are actually ones that have crept through the fence from the neighbors yard, so I take good care of them every year. Here are the flowers I've planted in my planter box outside.

I'm with everyone else - REPORT HIS BUTT TO INAMED!!!! And even though I'm not the suing type, I'd go into sue mode and seek the advice of a reputable lawyer. Good luck!

I hope to God that it's Kaysar. He's awesome! He's a pot stirer, and that's what keeps it interesting!

Yes, my husband's aunt did this to me too. She always asks whenever I see her if I'm still losing or how much I've lost so far. I guess shortly after I had my surgery she started dieting too. She does this to everyone though. She is a very jealous person by nature, and has made comments to me in the past about "people my size". Since having the surgery and losing weight she hasn't made any of those comments to me. *smirk*

I used to collect castles but got rid of them when we ran out of room.

Congratulations again! I am so excited for you! I remember seeing Dylan for that first time when I was 5 weeks along. I remember the tears streaming down my face because I knew that that pregnancy would be a keeper. (since my problem had been fixed to prevent further miscarriages) I also remember the 13 week ultra sound that they did too. His little arms and legs were just a going! I knew at that moment that he'd be an energetic one, and he certainly still is!!!!! I wish you so many happy joyous memories of this pregnancy. Because even though the years go by and you'll be holding your baby, and watching him/her grow, you'll always have the memories of your pregnancy. I still smile when I think about watching his little arms and legs doing the "jitterbug" dance in there. And then to feel his big old kicks towards the end and watch my belly move in waves. LOL You're going to love it! I wish you all the best, and thanks for keeping us updated!

Mega hugs to you. I went through my whole school years timid and ashamed of who I was. I was laughed at, made fun of, and was sometimes even treated like I was non existent. Just depended on the day. Although I have since forgiven those individuals who saw fit to torture me, I have no desire to go to any of my class reunions because of it. Why would I want to see them again? Sure people change with time, but why bring back the old memories? I can assure you that it does get better with time. I am now a strong and confident young woman (using the term "young" loosely at age 30) who is happily married for 9 wonderful years, and has a beautiful 2 year old too. Sending mega hugs your way, and just give a holler if you need me. While I don't post here as often as I once did (just very busy this summer) I still try to pop on to lurk at least every other day. Praying for you acceptance letter! ~Kelly

If you have photoshop on your computer you'll want to hit the file button, then image size, then it'll pop a box up where you can adjust the size of the picture. Hope that helps
