I am so happy to hear this! You will be so happy with the results! Congratulations!!!
-
So glad that you are all ok Paula! I thought about trying to call you, but decided against it - just because I didn't know if you would all be gone or not. Hopefully everyone else from LBT is safe and sound. Those storms sure are nothing to mess with!
-
Yes! I'm so glad that you posted this. I was thinking of my dear Paula and all of the other wonderful LBTers here who live in that area. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and may the Lord watch over all of you and keep you all safe and protected!

Not to get you paranoid, but you should go have it checked out. I thought that I was having shoulder pains just like when I had my WLS, and here it was Pericarditis (fluid around my heart). I'm not trying to scare you, or even say that you have Pericarditis. I'm simply saying to please be cautious and have it checked out. I'd personally rather be safe than sorry.

I personally can't stand Ivette. I hope that next HOH someone wins who will send her butt packing. She's so rude and cocky. Bye bye Ivette! Oh. And don't even get me started on Maggie. She's like a freekin wolf in sheeps clothing. They need to get her out of there too.

About 6 years ago we lived out in the country in a small trailer with not so hot doors/locks. My husband worked the midnight shift, so I was stuck home alone during the nights. It was about 3 in the morning and I was in a sound sleep when a very faint noise woke me up. I opened my eyes only to see a dark shadow (in the form of a person) moving across the foot of my bed. I was so freaked that I was frozen with fear. All I could do was yell, "HEY!" And when the shadown kept moving across the room and closer to me I yelled, "HEY!" again, but only louder. My husband then decided to speak to me, and said that he had been electrocuded on a grinder at work, to the ER, and properly sent home to me, his loving wife. I don't know what scared me more. The fact that the shadow was moving across the room towards me, or the fact that my poor husband was electrocuted so badly, that he has a permanant scar on his hand and arm now. (They're faded now, but still there!)

Hubby gets home in a few hours from work and I'll ask him what he puts into it. He makes a hot one and a mild one both, so I can have him list both. Happy crocking!

The Body Shop's products are the bomb too! Of course, I still have to be loyal to my Watkins products first. But in all honesty, the Body Shop's Hemp Face Protector was my saving grace during last winter. It is wonderful!!!!

I am a woman as well, and my surgeon had to use the largest 10cc band on me. She tried using the mid sized, and said that my stomach was too large and muscular. (her words) So I do believe that it depends on the surgeon, as well as OR your stomach size. Some surgeons ONLY use the large ones, and others, like my surgeon, go according to the size of your stomach. I hope this helps anyone researching the band. Each surgeon is different, and you may want to ask what they practice before deciding if they're the right surgeon for you.

Speaking of meatballs........if you make the meatballs and cover them with mushroom Soup, that is out of this world too! My FIL makes them with the golden mushroom soup and that is wonderful as well!!!! Meatballs are a really versatile dish that you can suit to your own family's likings. I LOVE meatballs!!!!
-
I need to start using mine again. I adore my crock in the fall and winter months the most I think. My husband makes an out of this world crock pot chili and also "boiled dinner" as well. I think I'll try the meatballs though. YUM!!!!

Not sure why it isn't working for you Penni? I'll re-post it and see if that helps. http://glennferon.com.nyud.net:8090/portfolio1/index.html

God speed my dear! I miss your smiling face already!
-
Very cool. Just goes to show that NO ONE is without flaw.
-
Yep, agreed. I don't keep track of fat or calories. I figure that that's why I got this little band around my stomach, so that I DON'T have to do that anymore.

Everyone looks fantastic!!! Loopyloo - You lived in Tasmania?!?!?! How cool is that!!!!!!!!

Good luck! Wishing you all the best! -
Aw. Is Dylan you son? That's definately a good name for a son! LOL (Thus my username on here)
-
I'm not seeing any of them. Did they get moved?
-
Correct. It wouldn't be in inches. It goes by CCs, which is how much saline the band will hold.
-
Believe it or not, everyone's stomachs are different sizes. My surgeon told me that when she opened me up, she saw how thick and muscular my stomach was. She tried one of the mid sized bands, but it wouldn't fit around my stomach. So she ended up having to use the 10 cc on me. Some people have smaller stomachs than others, and can get by with only using the smallest or mid sized bands. Then there are those of us who need the big bad boy sized ones. Just goes to show that we truly are all different, no matter what our size/weight/shape is before banding.
