I was bad the night before surgery. Rootbeer pop used to be my absolute favorite. Not the diet crap either, the yummy sugary stuff. We were in Meijer with my sister, who had graciously allowed us to stay with her that night since it was close to the hospital where I had my surgery done. I saw an A&W rootbeer in the checkout, which was my absolute favorite of all rootbeers! So I broke down and bought a 20oz bottle. And I enjoyed every single last little pee picking drop of it too!!! I fessed up to my surgeon as she was wheeling me into surgery the next morning (because she asked if I had been able to stick to the pre-op Atkins style diet I was on that week before) and she said, "Was it the diet or the real stuff?" I sheepishly replied, "The real good sugary stuff." She just chuckled and said, "Ok. But you won't be doing that anymore now, right?" And of course I said, "Right!" I'm lucky she was so understanding and didn't beat me over the head with my then uninstalled band. *grin*

Jessiebear - I get credit for the orders when the orderer places my ID# in the designated place during checkout. They will ask for it during the checkout process when someone orders. I mainly want to make sure that orderers have it in there so that they will be taken care of by myself (as my customer) should a question or need arise. I like to make sure that I keep my customers happy and well taken care of. I'm always available to answer questions about products, give help etc., and that's more important to me than getting the credit for an order. I care about people!

Grinning from ear to ear here at some of the suggestions given. I also have a whack job of a MIL, and we get along most of the time, but God help that woman - sometimes she can get on my last nerve. I agree with everyone else to not let his parents ruin your happiness. Focus on your success and how great you feel, and that'll make her even madder. LOL You're doing a fantastic job, and don't let her bitterness rain on your hip happity parade. *this is the part where you smile wide*

Okay, this pisses me off. It should anger anyone who knows a woman

Thank goodness they re-thought it and are getting a suitable replacement for the position. And once again the old saying proves true....."Hell hath no fury like that of a woman (in this case a whole lot of women) scorned." He he he!!!!! -

I started mine the morning of too! They gave me a pad with disposable undies and once I was in my room and awake they let me change into my own undies with a pad. -

That is horrible! Could they not find a suitable replacement? Hello! Ding ding ding! -
Oh my goodness! I'm so happy to hear that you'll be ok and that it was caught in time. Please rest and take good care of yourself. You poor dear! If I had more long distance minutes left I'd call you, but I fear I've already gone over them for the month! Sending mega huggies out to you girl!

We are all passionate about our belief systems, but I'd like to believe that at the end of the day we all love and care for each other just the same. It doesn't matter to me how all of the people on here choose to live, I love them the same and accept them all just as readily. Thank you for the compliments to all of us! -
Colonics? Does that hurt? It sounds owie to me. And not sure what the chemicals in diapers can do my baby? That scares me a little. He's 2 and that's what we've always used, just because the thought of having to wash poopy diapers everyday makes me sick to my stomach. But I suppose if he's really at major risk I'd like to know. Can you PM me with the info? Thanks.

I hope you and your family are ok! I talked to you last week, but that was last week! Please let us know that you are all ok. Big hugs to you, your dh, and your 3 little peanuts. Please give the kids lots of hugs from auntie Kelly!

Yes, I can send you a catalog! Please PM me with your name and address and I'd be happy to send you one. I'm sending one to another member here today, so I'll just send yours when I send hers. Thanks again everyone for your interest! Please do not forget to put my ID#359142 in when you order. (It'll ask for it during the checkout process.) That way I can ensure that you're taken care of as my customer, and not without help if you need it.

OMG!!!!!!! Poor Trish!!! That sounds horrible!!! Please take care of you!

Thanks so much ladies! When you sign up as a customer, does Watkins say they'll send you a catalog directly? If so, that's nice! They haven't sent me a catalog request, so they must be sending them for me. If any of you haven't gotten them in week's time, please let me know!

I have been wanting to read this book too! I saw the infomercial for it on TV and wrote down the name of it then. I'm headed to see if I can find it online and how much it costs. I like to read, let it sink in, and then let my own value system take over. It's like panning for gold - you sort through a lot of crap to get to the valuable stuff.

Hello and welcome to LBT! Feel free to read through all of the old posts and ask any additional questions that you need answering. I chose the band over bypass because the thought of dying in my 20s wasn't real appealing to me, and I knew I wanted more children too. And I wanted to be around to see my children grow up and marry themselves. Best wishes to you, and enjoy the site!

Aw, thanks Michelle! I'm so glad that all of you liked everything! I've loved everything I've ever ordered from them as well. And I'm not just saying that because I sell their products. They are really great quality and such an ethical company to work for too. Thanks again Michelle!

Happy birthday to a wonderful woman who deserves many MANY more happy years to follow!

I think of her from time to time too. My poor rose bush that I got for her memory is probably so root bound that it isn't even funny. But it's funny that I never got a chance to plant it this summer, and now we're moving into our house. (So I don't have to dig it right back up and re-plant.) I have purposely avoided planting it this last month because I knew we'd be moving soon. As soon as we get into our new home that'll be one of my first priorities. I'll have to cover it for the harsh winter that'll ensue, but once spring comes back around I'm sure it'll perk right back up.

I am respectfully bowing out of this thread. But before I do I have one last thing to say. I have stated how I believe, but I never once tried shoving anything down anyone's throat. And I have never once judged anyone on this board for the way that they believe or choose to worship either. I find it extremely odd that someone would want to put their belief into stones or other objects over a holy and loving and pure God, but that is everyone's right and privledge, and who am I to deny anyone of that? I will never stop believing the way that I do, and I will never argue religion with anyone. It is pointless, as we will all believe the way that we see fit. I also find it sad that there are those who have been mistreated by those calling themselves a "christian". Please know that true Christians do not go around judging others, nor do they go around telling others how to live or calling them sinners. I am a firm believer in walking the walk instead of talking the talk. If I say it, I had better be living it. And living a life of peace, harmony, gentleness, and kindness to others is what this girl is about. Not bashing others or making them feel like less of a person. That's all I'll be saying now on this thread, so everyone take care. In honor of Forest Gump, "And that's all I have to say about that."

I have too and love it. We use ours to make smoothies, chop (ok, I guess mush) up onions, to blend oats for baking recipies, to chop flax seeds, etc.

Happy Birthday! I hope you have a super one girl!
