Hello I just posted something about this but the more i do research, the more I am freaking out...I meat my surgeon today. I am 1.5 months out. He said that he used a 60 bougie on me, that my stomach shoul hold 9-10 oz and that he took off 75% of my stomach. the thing is, people keep telling me that because my sleeve is ''bigger'' i will regain a lot of weight 3-5 years out i cant beleive this. This cant be right. People say they used 60 bougies back in 2000...wtf. i am so sad and confused. My surgeon is the head of a renowned hospital in my city (canada) and he has done tons of sleeves! please help me

Hello guys! I had surgery on may 21st. I had a follow up appointement today and asked my surgeon the bougie he used on me. He said he used a 60 bougie! OMG!!!!! That’s so big…right? I hear people talking about a 23 bougie. Im so sad…He also said that my stomach will be able to hold 9-10 oz. Is my stomach too big? Should I be worried that my weight loss wont be good? Thanks!

Hey! So i'm 1 month out and I just started solids yesterday. And I think my surgeon made a mistake and made my sleeve too big. To be honest I dont even feel like I have been sleeved... Yesterday, I was able to eat a medium piece of chicken, 2 asparagus and a little bit of mashed potatoes. I feel like I can eat more than people saying ''im full with 3 bites''. Is this normal? I never feel full plz help, im freaking out Lau xx

Hello everyone, I am 20 years old, 255 lbs and 5'1. I am obese but never had any health problems like high blood pressure, diabetes. I am lucky. I am contemplating the idea to have a gastric sleeve but people keep telling i should try to lose the weight by my own first. But I am 100 pounds overweight and i'm pretty sure if i lose it I would gain it back. Do you guys think i should have surgery or that I should wait? Thanks!
