Hi! I am Cristy. I am a 32 year old female living in Los Angeles, CA. I have been trying to get the gastric sleeve seriously for about 2 years now. Upon first try, I was told that I had Stage 2 Endometrial Cancer, and that I needed to get a hysterectomy. I lost my gallbladder, and ALL of my female parts. One would think that all this balogna would have scared me away from the sleeve. Instead, it made my will to get it stronger. My surgery is tomorrow, March 13th, 2012. There are a mix of emotions running through my head. I am wondering if I am doing the right thing. I am wondering if it is safe to get more anethesia, I am wondering how long the recovery time will truly be, I am excited to be smaller, yet I am almost MOURNING food in my head? (Is this possible?#%^#^) Anyway, this fierce surgery is going down in Orange County tomorrow. Wish me luck!
