  1. Congrats. Little by little you will feel better. Don't push it or rush it, just relax.
  2. My last appt at 5 weeks was with the Dr. He told me a sleeve patient should really be eating around every four hours. That seems to coincide with my hunger and energy levels too.

Good luck, Jimmy. Please let us know how you are.
  5. I have a similar experience. I thought I was approaching time of life changes cause I was having night sweats and some other issues. Since surgery though, I am no longer having them. It's so nice. I've been comfortable at night and not hot in the day; even though, I am living in Kuwait!
  6. Excellent post. Thank you. That is exactly what I have been aiming to do with my new life. I wanted the sleeve as a means of tempering myself, not as a means to make me a freak and queen of dieting. Obviously, that is something I don't enjoy. So I am hoping to do as you have done. To still enjoy things, but in moderation.

Welcome and good luck on your journey!
  8. Am taking Bariatric advantage, and suddenly, yesterday, after taking them for three weeks, I felt extremely nauseated right after I swallowed the multivitamin. Is that unheard of? I can't imagine why an intolerance would happen so quickly after I had been taking them with no probs. I know others have said they can't take BA vitamins due to the taste, but there must be another reason that would cause such a quick physical reaction after swallowing them. Any ideas?
  9. Yes, I have been doing the same, but yesterday it all changed. Yuck- what to do?
  10. Am just wondering if I am drinking too much at one time. I have gotten into a weird habit of taking a regular size full mouth and then swallowing it bit by bit. I measure a mouthful and it was about 4 oz. is this too much at one time? I am also able to do a couple of these in a row. Now I am concerned that it may be too much. But I don't know how I could get in all my fluid otherwise.
  11. I find I have to switch it up or I get sick of them. I have to use up the Isopure vanilla I have, so I mix that with skim milk and ice in the blender; it's not too bad. Then, I alternate with Syntrax, Fuzzy Navel mixed with water and ice. It goes down more easily for me. I have ordered some more Syntrax citrusy ones because they don't feel as heavy to me and the taste is not bad. You should try those. You can get sample packs from their site. Good luck.

    Im Such And Idiot!

I don't have any problems with straws. In fact, I think they are helpful when drinking protein shakes.

Where Are My April 2012 Sleevers?

It is a yogurty type drink from the middle east. It's kind of like a watered down plain yogurt. In the middle east they drink it either a little salty or with mint. I think you might have a version of it by Activia in the US.
