I Have f**king Had It!
Brandon replied to sexy_sleevegirl's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
i did not start feeling better until i took some pepcid. when i was released the nurse told me not to take the pepcid or an acid reducer. i struggled for five days only being able to drink one bottle of water a day. i called my Doc and he suggested that I take two acid reducers a day. i did and almost immediately felt better and was able to get more liquid down. i was sleeved on 9/17, and i feel almost normal...still on liquids, get to move onto pureed food next week. hang in there. -
So as a complete n00b I walked into my local GNC...first time since high school which was 20 years ago...and bought what I was told was a "very clean" Protein. I purchased 16 Isopure bottles with an assortment of flavors. ***These are the nastiest tasting drinks I have ever tasted.*** The aftertaste leaves you wishing death on the makers of Isopure. Sure, 40 grams of protein and zero carbs sound good….but it sure doesn’t taste good. Anyone know if you can take unopened product back to GNC?

Day 1 Post Op: The Unexpected & My Extended Hospital Stay...

praying for you. -
I feel your pain! I am on day two of my two week pre-op diet. As a former meth user I can tell you that kicking the drug habbit was less taxing mentally. As the others have posted, stay the course and it will get better. If it was easy everyone would do it right?

"doh!" been there myself..insert foot into mouth. if he is like most of us guys he is oblivious to the pain he has caused you. i know i have hurt my wife with words at times..more often than i care to mention. but you need to have a conversation with him about it. we don't know what we don't know. after 12 years of marriage my wife is finally letting me know when i screw up and it has made me a lot more sensitive to her feelings and our relationship has improved. i will still say dumb sh&t now and again, but at least she lets me know and i can take corrective action. i love her and don't want to hurt her and your husband may be in the same boat...so forgive him, but tell him. have the conversation. praying for you both. God bless
