I had the same pain (I am 14 days out). Doc prescribed malox and a prescription for carafate. They worked wonders. No more pain.

I am having a hard time with cravings (not hungry). and family comes home with doritos tacos and oreo cookies one day and super size barbecue hamburgers another day. I have to find a way to work this out the rest of my life!!!

I am having painful heartburn or gas all in my ribs,back and chest..Tried gas X pills and not working. so bad didn't sleep last night. Any suggestions PLEASE?

Today is hard for me. I am really hungry and tired of jello, pudding, popcicles, and cream soup. I am only 9 days out since the surgery and feeling like a failure. What am I going to do?????

I am 40. I am 9 days out and I am really struggling also. Not liking this full liquid stage. But I know it will be worth it when I turn 41 in May and moving towards my goal.

HI, glad to know I am not the only one. Had the surgery 3/5/12 also and I had the seasoning off tomato basil chips and potatoes out of my creamed soup. Feeling guilty that I didn't stay committed.

Only day 7 and doctor sasid to stop taking another B/P med. Now only one pill a day from 3. So excited!

How long do I wear the velcro support from the hospital???? Would love to put on a light weight girdle.
