I am 65 ...was 237 and now 170...30 to go.....had the surgery Aug 9th 2012.... I am having a hell of a time to say the least....I have been 170 now for 4 months...I am going up and down 170 to 175 then back to 170....not another darn lb is moving....I am going to a weight clinic this week to get diet pills etc etc etc....didnt know it would be this hard.... always starving.....but at least i cant eat much....otherwise I throw up..... I need help help help....

I am having a hell of a time...no weight lost in 4 months...still 30lb from goal ...going up and down on 5 lb...back on diet pills...

I have gained 5 lb....8mth out and it sucks...getting Hungary all the time again....

4,5,and 6 mths....nudda....then dropped 4lb in one week...and now 8mths nudda again....sooooo sick of it...did know this was going to be so hard...I thought it just all came off till it was all off....oh no...at about 5 mths u have to work real real hard at it...so depressed about it all...have lost 68 lb in 8 mths with 35 to go...

yep life is a b***h...I have been at a stand stil now for 2 months...sick of it....got to get to that gym i joined a few months ago....lol.....i have 35 to go....it sucks....i thought it would just keep coming off....hell Im not eating a thing hardly....what is with this.....now what do we do....?????

yeaaaaaa my scale has started to move again........only a couple of lbs...but....its moving..... got to start going to the gym.....paying for it but not going.....got to go........... cheers everyone....from this 64 yr old....hey I have gone down a shoe size....lol.....

me also...I am 3 1/2 month post op and I am starving...I have lost 60 lb now but no weight loss in the past 3 weeks because I think I'm cheating....,I'm sick about it but I'm so damn hungry..... join the gym...now have to start going...need to be busy so I don't dwell so much on it... very depressed about it....anyway...I feel for u...it sucks....where r u at....I am in California....

I had massive headaches day and night after the surgery for 3 months....found out I was not taking in enough fluids...extremely dehydrated apparently...ended up back in hospital getting a fluid drip....now Im on it and never have headaches....

I am having a hell of a time....I am starving...especially at night....

I also would like to find out as I was turned down 3 yrs ago....... some one I hope will answer that question.....

I am12 weeks out...I don't even feel like I have had the surgery now...........I have lost 59 lb and now at standstill for 2 weeks...no weight loss at all...I still have 44 lb to get off......I am now hungry allllllllll the time.......I feel very fat today....I have had about 30 grapes throughout the day.....and 6 crackers with cheese.....1 protein shake and 2 bottles of water......the grapes and crackers all all I can eat without turning them down....I cant do veges or anything else...........I have had so many grapes today that I feel huge and fat............I'm going to start having a shake at dinner....for dinner and see if it gets me through the night without grapes and crackers..........anyone got any input for me....????

OMG I am having a awful time staying on track..........I am 10 weeks post op have lost 55...but its stopped coming off........I am hungry all the time now.............I still have 45 lb to go.............. so sick of it all..............got to get back on track.........

I stopped after 4 weeks and cut them in half and now I take them whole and I am about 8 weeks post op...my surgey was aug 9th....

mine was also low and my Doc said its dehydration....u need to drink more water....64oz a day

I had my sleeve Aug 9th.......the light headed feelings is dehydration.......I just found that out.... Doc called yesterday and said my labs came back and I have kidneys in crisis...severe dehydration... I tell ya I have and am having a time with this....I stopped throwing up 3 days ago...and he told me to take sea sick pills for the light head feelings...which I do and they have gone away.....now I have massive headaches.....what date did u have yr sleeve....I can hardly eat much..... and I hated the protein shakes but now I put a tad of ice cream in them....only way I can get them down....now I have to water myself to death ......Doc had to give me the iv drip to help me yesterday.... if it doesn't get better by my next labs next Tuesday then I have to go into the hospital.... hope you feel better....I didnt know this was going to be so hard....oh well.... cheers...kiwi/nanci....

Aria is the best shake ever.....and I hate shakes....u get it at Trader Joes...... 6 oz milk ....2 ice cubes to keep it cold....1 and 1/2 scoops of protein and a biggish table spoon of no sugar ice cream and a table spoon of greek yogurt....mmmm its like a creamy shake....mix it in a blender....

I would think long and hard....I am kinda sorry I did it....I did it sep 9th and have been ill ever since.....I thought it would be great , that I would feel great and do stuff and be so awsome....well I have been vomiting all the time...even with the anti vomit pill,...I cant keep down anything... I have tried everthing...yes Im losing weight....but kinda not the right way.....not feeling so good...feel weak..shaky..and tired......... wished I was back how I was...............

I have had so many conflicting reports....I have Medicare and ChampVa..........can I have Gastric Sleeve surgery..... I need this surgery prior to having another following surgery a few months later....I am a Diabetic 2, high blood pressure... all kinds of medical problems going on...etc etc...I need this surgery Fast....I might even have to go down to Mexico to have it... every other gastric surgery is covered by medicare....why not the Gastric Sleeve....some body please tell em something....
