welcome! i too was banded in april 2007 lots 75 lbs before my first fill and gained it all back i have had nothing but problems with it. i will be banded on 6/5 as well i wish you luck i know this is a hard road we have been on i felt like such a loser at times im glad i found a new dr. who knows his stuff and i just know the sleeve will help us.

lol your topic made me giggle. a few months ago i stopped wearing lycra pants to the gym not just because of chaffing but i was getting scared all of the friction would start a forest fire, lmao thank you for a bit of humor! we are a hardy bunch arent we? we can survive anything! -

poor lady no fair and you have a 17 mo old to take care of. hold on try and take it easy think only good thoughts when you can they will fix the stricture and you will feel better. saying prayers for you as i type. God bless! -

ty all for understanding i wasnt trying to scare anyone i was just telling my story and how i got here. everyone seems to have a different experience so please know i was in no one intimating that that would be anyone elses experience. ty for all of the support im excited for the 5th to get here. i feel like ive been given a do-over lol -
i am so sorry that you have children and a brother not on this side of the veil. kudos to you if you can survive that you can over come anything. Good luck to you! i just know you will make it. i joined this site in feb but didnt do anything on it until lately because i wasnt sure where i was going as a bander to a sleeve. i have found nothing but kind, inspiring people here and plan to join in as much as possible to keep myself going

hang in there i remember when i first was banded how i felt it did get better, i now personally at this moment am mad at food, it has been my friend, lover, consoler for so long yet i hate what its done to me when i look in the mirror or the glass doors of a store! i hate food, i will not be sorry to see it go! lol. like a bad date i just want it to go away, lol

the kicker of the whole thing is it took me so long to get away from him that the stat. of limitations of 2 yrs ran out anything prior to april 2010 i cannot go after him on unless it is a new discovery. the way im looking at it is i survived i got away from him and now im getting the right stuff done he will hang himself in the end unfortunately he may hurt others in order to lose his license. very sad. -

i am sure you will be fine, you have to admit most people dont go thru the nightmare i did. you are having a totally different surgery done by a surgeon who knows what they are doing. i may have suffered but im blessed for having done so, and i havent given up life is good! dont be worried you are going to be fine! -
