Have been on preop diet since Saturday and I've only lost about 6 lbs. I know that is still a good thing but I am afraid that I'll be the loser that didn't shed any weight before surgery. Scared it makes me look like a failure. I know it sounds silly. I have just been really trying.

Every conversation I have with my mother is about a new diet or diet pill she saw on tv or someone at work is taking. It gets really frustrating. No one knows I'm having this.
