    Anyone Start At 240Ish Lbs?

I started at 246. Had surgery Feb.24 2012. Today I am 138. At first a walked a lot and went to the gym twice a week, now I work 60 hours a week on my feet, constantly moving so that is my exercise. I pretty much eat what I want, but I do try to make healthier choices and watch how much I consume. Its almost scary, cause I dont try anymore and the weight just keeps coming off. Good luck to you.
  3. No no no !! You did not mess up. Your body is going through alot of changes right now and has to have time to catch up with everything that is happening to it. Dont be discouraged!!! Stick with your program and you will be fine, the weight loss will come.Talk to your doctor about walking a little more everyday. I understand that you have heart problems but even if its just a stroll down the street its better than nothing.I am at five weeks post op and I have had my own struggles as well. I lost 30 pounds pre op and the first week after surgery 10 pounds fell right off. Then wham! Nothing for two weeks. I was so discouraged and upset. But I read alot of posts and here and found out it was normal to hit a stall. Discouraging as it may be , we all go through it. I am kinda afraid that I hit another stall this week. I lost five pounds last week and for the last three days the scales have not moved but I know as long as I keep at it the weight loss will come. Same for you!!! Just dont give up. This is a process. Good luck!!
  4. As you know, everyone is different.. For me the pain wasnt that bad. When I woke up in recovery I wanted to get up and the nurses helped me to get out of bed( my butt was hurtin from laying in bed so long) I only used my pump once and the next day I went home. Now when I got home I stayed sick for the next 24 hours. Even a sip of water mad me sick. But by the third day I was fine. It hurt to cough but the hospital gave my a pillow to hold against my stomach when I coughed and that helped alot. All and all it wasnt that bad. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Good luck to you.
  5. I think this dreadful stall is finally over. Scale moved down three pounds after not moving at all for three weeks.

    1Mo Po & I've Gained Weight:(

Glad I found this post !!!! I was sleeved on 2/24, lost 11 pounds the first week and like two pounds the second week and today starts my fourth week and nothing has happened since my second week. The scale has not moved!!!! So frustrated!!!! I only get in about 600 calories a day but I could do more I know this because at night time right before bed I am starving!!! Sometimes I feel like this is just another thing that isnt gonna work. I am stressed and worried but I am still sticking to my plan and hoping for the best.
  7. First time posting eventhough I have been a member for a while figured its about time....So today I am 2 weeks post op I am 14 lbs lighter and altogether I have lost 47 lbs !!!!
