Idk im thinking if they dont say anything then we dont owe anything.. my insurance didnt say anything to me..just gave me my approval number

i just got my approval today from horizon bc/bs of nj saw my surgeon beginning of jan. was able to get all my clearances done in 5 weeks submitted to insurance on feb 15 with a march 13th surgery date feb 29 they wanted a detailed letter of what ive been doing the past 12 months for weightloss with dates and amounts & also they misplaced my psy clearance.. faxed everything that day march 1st went for pre-op bloodwork etc march 5th i called insurance and got an approval number!!! march 13th is my surgery ( 8 days away)

thank you... still cant believe this is all happening.. saw my dr in beginning of jan...got all my clearances done in a month.. submitted to insurance ..they asked for paperwork what ive been doing to lose weight this past year and they misplaced my psy clearance..and BAM im 8 days away from having my life completly change.. and for the better all to surreal that this is happening

I am into reading but since im going to school i havent had much time for reading other then school stufff. but i will look into getting the book for reference..thanks yea i was thinking just bringing a change of clothes , toothbrush and cellphone ( lol).. at least its just an overnight stay i hate being in the hospital. when i had my kids i wanted out that day. some people have told me sugar free Jello , chicken broth and popsicles.. idk.. nutrionist told me to get Isopure..the clear liquid Protein

hello all... Im 13 days away from when my surgery is scheduled for, tomorrow i go for my pre op tests at the hospital. today i called the surgeons office to see where i was in the insurance process and found out that insurance company wanted a psy evaluation which my dr sent but had to be resent today and they also wanted a letter of things ive done this past year for weight loss. Now im losing my mind could they mess up my plans of having surgery the 13th??? Surgeons office doesnt seem worried about it but im freaking out. Ive logged on to Horizon BC/BS to watch my authorization but all it says in pending more information.. Omg could this all not happen and im so close. anyone have anything similar to give me some ensight

well i have 10 more days and still havent heard anything. called dr office thursday afternoon and woman who deals with the insurance told me to stop worrying..( easier said then done) but i took it as a hint not to call her for a few days, needless to say now im really stressing..

Hello all Im new on here.. and what a way to start..tomorrow seeing my surgeon and submitting all my clearances to the insurance company.. I heard BC/BS Horizon of NJ is a hard one.. My BMI is 47.5.. and only have asthma..no other real co-morbities.. Ugh. the stress of this all..
