Okay I really dont....but Ive just been so grouchy, moody, emotional lately. Ive taken two days off work because I cant even face people there right now. Ive been in a bad mood since last Friday. My surgery is scheduled for July 11th and I dont know if that has anything to do with it. My preop starts on Tuesday June 26th. I have so many things going through my head right now like; -Im so fat right now -I just wish July 11th would hurry up and come -How will I make it through the Pre-op? -Im so fat right now -What if this surgery doesnt work for me? -What if Im always going to be this size? -How did I let it get to this point? -Im so fat right now -I hope I wake up Just to name a few. Honestly if it wasnt for futureskinnypants I probably would have cracked by now. Did anyone else feel so blue immedialtey before the surgery?

One more rejuvenation surgery to add to the list! Lol -
My surgery date is July 11th. I'm so anxious and nervous and excited. My preop diet starts June 26th. I'm only allowed 6 ready to drink 8oz protein shakes a day and water. :-( I'm not looking forward to this. So far I've started cutting out any drink other than water and crystal light and I think next week I will also start having a protein shake for breakfast instead of a meal. God help us all.

This Surgery Is All I Think About
Mimismom replied to skinnycupcake13's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Me too!! My surgery is scheduled for July 11th and I can't think of anything else. I keep thinking about how much healthier and lighter I will be and I'm ashamed to admit I even do some online window shopping at stores I would have never set foot in before for fear of "too big" alarms going off! -

Hey fam! I'm so sorry I've been incognito lately. I have been so busy with work and mid terms and making sure I get all my last minute issues taken care of before my surgery in July. I hope all of you are doing well. Jafter- I hope everything is going good with you and you are still recovering nicely. Meredith- congratulations babe!! I'm so happy for you. I know this must be such a relief for you to have it over and done with. Please keep us updated on everything. I am getting so anxious. I have had a food funeral for the last couple of months. I'm sure I gained 10lbs and it's kind of stressing me but I have accepted it. My preop diet starts on June 26th. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek -

Dani I meant to respond yesterday but got sidetracked. I personally think you made the right decision. I know for sure that I probably would have done the same thing if I only had 50-60lbs to lose. Not that it's easy but why go through such drastic measures? I totally get it. You can make small changes in your life that will make a huge difference in your life. Cutting out anything but water and crystal light perhaps and walking a little more. You can do it! You made a very sound decision. Best of luck in everything! -

Hey Dani I'm glad you are feeling better. I am sure we all will be feeling a variety of emotions as our big day nears. Thanks for the information. I did get the pre op outline with the different options but wanted to know what everyone was choosing or what worked for them. I tried muscle milk lite the other day in chocolate and didn't really like it. I think I may opt for the Medifast shakes instead. -

Hey everybody! For those of you already doing the preop liquid diet like Dani and Jafter, can you guys tell us what shakes your on and what exactly do you do? Do you take just five shakes a day an water or do you include anything else. For those who are not on the preop diet yet but know exactly what you're going to do please tell me too. I would really like to know because I'm trying to figure out which shakes I should get. -

Dani! I totally understand how you feel. I am a single mom and my daughter is 3 yrs old and her father has not been in her life since we got a divorced when she was 1 month old so I'm basically all she has. My only worry is that if something were to go wrong where would that leave her?? I'm lucky that my parents are very involved with her so I know she would be taken care of but I just wouldn't want her to feel as though she has lost both her father and mother. But I will have to say that the life ahead of me right now is scary if I continue being the weight that I am. There are still risks of heart disease and cancer for example if I don't do the surgery. You will be fine. We are all rooting for you and will have you in our thoughts and prayers on your day of surgery. -

Ohhhhh Dani that's right! Your surgery is just around the corner. I don't know how I'm going to manage the pre op diet either. I wish there was some way around it. One of the options is Medifast shakes but Im not sure if that includes the lean and green meal. You can do it though! Just think of the finish line; your goal weight. Is titanium supposed to be better? -

That's great news Meredith! I bet your excited! May is just around the corner. Did Emily tell you about whether or not Dr. Washington uses glue and staples for the sleeve? I wish my surgery date was sooner. I just ate 3 Cadbury caramel eggs in a row. I'm hopeless. -
Hi there! I'm glad you made it through your surgery alright! Sorry you were in so much pain. :-( Would you mind sharing your experience with all of us on the Dr.Morris Washington's crew thread in the general forum? :-)

Hi, I think different doctors have different schools of thoughts on this. When I asked the first surgeon I consulted with about which surgery is better, he said for me, because I don't have any diabetes or major medical issues, the sleeve would be good. He said that if I had diabetes he would recommend the RouenY because of the immediate drop of weight after the surgery. Although I do think if you have type 2 diabetes and not type 1, the sleeve would probably work out. Good luck!

One Week Post Op....fuzzy Tongue?
Mimismom replied to kimmr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This really sounds to me like your body detoxing to be honest. It kind of sounds like what I would get after being on a master cleanse (which is just liquids) for a couple of days.
