Ok Deanna - my goal is 1200 minutes of exercise this month! I'd like to lose 12lbs, but I keep feeling like its not going to happen. I lost 4lbs last week, but now I'm up 2lbs. I feel like a failure. I gotta get my butt back in the gym. I haven't been since sunday...

Oh hell yes! I would definately not have been concerned about the ipod previous to the surgery, just as long as it wasn't affecting my meal schedule.

Ditto TerriDoodle - that is one of the things that has changed. Laundry. I try to shrink everything now! -
Hey everyone! I've been lurking the past few days...I haven't really had any updates lately, but now I want to scream from the mountains (I don't have any around me so I'll scream here!) I BROKE MY PLATEAU!!!!!!! It only lasted 5 weeks, I don't know why I'm so excited(!). I finally lost 4 more pounds. I went in for a fill again, and have been at the gym 3 days a week during the work week for a 40-60 minute elliptical session and both sat and sun for a 90 minute workout session of 45 minutes elliptical and 45 minutes stationary bike. If anyone told me 6 months ago I'd be at the gym this much, I would have called them crazy! Thats a great NSV Slikchik - I tried doing something similar. My dog weighs about 25lbs and I took her out for a walk a little while back. We came up to this big hill and I decided to carry her up the hill, since I had already lost 35lbs I figured it would be no big deal! Hell No! I had to put her down after 30 seconds!!! YIKES! Awesome job JULI on the tour de france challenge. And Denise - don't feel too bad about not making the challenge, you know you were working it at the gym! I envy you guys and your biking! I tried the stationary bike at the gym and did 14 miles last weekend. I shocked myself!

Ok so nothing for Monday and nothing yet for tuesday, lost the ipod and had a panic attack this morning. Took all my gym time to find it. Maybe I'll go this afternoon after work. I'll let you all know!

Ok, I'm in to lose 12lbs this month! We'll see what happens I guess. I'm not too optimistic!

ok, sun the 29th - 35min stationary bike (7 1/2 miles) 202 calories and 45min elliptical 550 calories

hoosierpoms - come on and join us!!! I would like to lose a total of 60lbs by my 6 month anniversary, which is sept 5, but I'm not sure thats going to happen. I still need to lose 19lbs... Ok so Sat the 28th....55(!) minutes on elliptical trainer (600 calories burned) and 35 minutes on the stationary bike for 7 1/2 miles (225 calories burned). I am so psyched! I hope I can get to the gym tomorrow....

Let me tell you...If I don't lose 10lbs this month, everyone around me is going to be bruised!!!! Ha! I haven't lost 1lb in over a month. August better be my month! I'll take you up on that challenge. I just got a fill and I'm going to be a gym rat so I am ready!

I told everyone...Don't care about others opinions. If they are judgemental or think that I took the easy way out, I don't really care. They obviously don't know much about being overweight and struggling with it all your life...

I think its time to set some goals for august...I have been watching everyone and their tickers, I think its high time I got one. But first I need a goal for August!

Has anyone tried the supplement NV? Since I'm losing my hair, and weight loss has stalled, I was thinking about it...

Ok, so I was a little ambitious last night, no gym this morning...maybe I'll go for a walk tonight though. areellady - you need to get your butt in gear!!! Maybe while camping you can walk around the grounds??? You are such an inspiration to me...you need to work it girl!

ok ok, I ignored the doc...just came back from a 40 minute walk around the neighborhood. Got a good sweat going on. And I don't feel dizzy or weak or anything. Maybe I'll try the gym tomorrow, after all I will be able to eat mushy food...

Hey Everyone So...went to visit the doc yesterday and she wanted to fill me. I've noticed that my calorie consumption had gone up so I started going gym crazy, but she still thought it was too many calories (1500-1700). I'm just afraid of being too tight, because that has happened before. I'll let you guys know what happens...

ok, so nothing since tuesday, but I saw the doc yesterday and she filled me. she wants me to do 2 days of liquids, then 1 day of mushies so she told me not to work out till I get back on regular food. hopefully this weekend I can get in a gym session, I actually kind of miss it!

I just found a surgeon that I was comfortable with, made an appointment with her, and got my insurance approval through her office. When I told my gyno, she wasn't thrilled to death, and told me that no matter what, I still would have to eat right and work out (duh!). I haven't seen her yet, but I will be seeing her in a few months. I wonder what she'd say if she saw how much weight I've lost so far...

Could you need another fill? You may not be at optimum restriction...Congrats on your baby!
