Congrats BoBann. You & I will be rocking or sleeves soon. To the member with Anthem, be persistent. I'll bet the doctor's office DID SEND the paperwork. Don't they normally do that online electronically by scanning the paperwork so it can never get lost. I work for a large insurance company. Paperwork is no longer faxed or mailed. It's all done electronically. Prayers going your way for approval.

4ALongerlife, I'm glad to see you are still on this board posting your journey. Did you have a 2nd surgery because of the original leak? Did the nurse say your stomach would not constrict any longer as soon as you are able to eat solid foods? Thanks for keeping us posted on yor progress. -

I received a call from my nurse at UHC today to go over the after surgery suggestions. He told me not to expect to have a BM soon after the surgery. How long has it been? -
Awesome Jazz. You have a beautiful family. Glad you are doing well. Are you still eating mostly soups and mushies?

Elizabeth, I hope you continue to progress well in your recovery. Take it slow. I understand about hospitals - I once heard a saying "1hospitals areno place for someone unless you're really sick"

Dixie you are so correct "God didn't mean for us to be this way". Thanks for your support!

Thank you Mina. I received a call from the doctor's office this morning advising I was approved & to set up the pre-op appt with the surgeon; then I got an email about two minutes later from my case worker telling me "Congratulations." She was awesome--even told me she was praying for my approval. I didn't have to make any calls or contact with UHC--dr's office did it all. Anybody using Dr Marvin in Houston? Ask for Tameki, my case worker.
