    Post Sleeve Diet

I'm a pretty boring eater/drinker. I stick to the same things (except now what I eat/drink is so much healthier!). I've been drinking Atkins Protein drinks to get my protein in (they are SO delicious!), Vitamin Water Zero, regular water, and sugar-free popsicles. I totally understand how boring the diet is right now, but I think it's important to just remember how worth it it's going to be when you see the scale drop and become a healthier version of your already beautiful self.

    Sleeved, Home...day 6

Hey there! I'm not too far behind you. I was sleeved on the 16th. You are so lucky you only had to do one day of the liquid diet! lol. I had to do two whole weeks. It was torture at times, but overall I think it was a good thing in that it prepared me for all the liquids I'd be trying to drink post-surgery. You're really lucky you've had no gas issues. That's been my only problem, really. I've been walking more and more every day, though, and it's fading fast, thankfully. Nice to hear your story!!!! Please keep us updated on how you're doing.
  3. Hi there! I'm getting sleeved on Thursday, February 16th and honestly I am a nervous wreck right now. I've read the fantastic threads about the do's and don'ts and what to bring to the hospital and everything, but I still have a few lingering questions that I'd like to ask those who have gone through the process already. To make it short and sweet, here they are: 1. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the pain you experienced upon waking up for the first time after surgery & also the couple days after? 2. What kind of pain was it and where on your body did you experience it? 3. How did you manage to get all of the Water you needed in during the days after surgery? As you can see, pain is kind of a big deal to me because I have such a low pain tolerance. Answers to those questions will be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thank you. xoxoxo
  4. Thank you EVERYONE for sharing your personal stories as well as the wonderful tips! You all are great and SO helpful! I am not as nervous about surgery tomorrow morning and am definitely taking all of your advice, for sure! By the way, to andkel30: I didn't see your message before, but upon viewing my thread now I just noticed it! Good luck to you too!!!!! After my surgery is over I'll message you and let you know how everything went.

    Special K Protein Shake..thoughts?!

Ew, I think the Special K drinks are so gross. I've been drinking Atkins chocolate ones. I find them delicious! It just tastes like chocolate milk to me. Only problem is they're a bit expensive considering how many I need to drink a day.

    I Have A Date--And It's Next Week!

I'm getting sleeved exactly a week after you are!!!!!! I'm very excited for you. Have you not cheated once on your pre-op diet? I've been doing all shakes and have knocked three days out without cheating - I'm quite proud of myself. Seriously missing solid food though! Please keep us posted on how you're feeling afterward.
