I currently weigh 119. My goal is 110 but I am not really pushing it since I am wearing a size 2/3 and xsmall tops. People tell me I am tiny but I will never be able to see that. However I can honestly say that for the first time in my life my thighs do not rub. My jeans and other pants used to always have the worn spots on the inside thighs from the friction. Even when I weighed 120 in high school my legs rubbed. I don't know why but they are smaller now.

Plastic surgery?
Crystal Woods replied to michelleandcolten's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Where did you have it done? Approx cost? You look fabulous! -
I agree and the meat and cheese in a lot of those have extra preservatives and imitation cheese. It's just as easy to put a slice of meat and a slice of cheese in a ziplock.

Good luck and congrats! I am so jealous. I want a TT and Boobs so bad. I have lost 108 and I am so thankful but its depressing with my clothes off. I can hide it with my clothes on. -

IS IT TRUE AFTER 6 MONTHS
Crystal Woods replied to stellabug321's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you keep your food intake just as low as in the first few months then you will continue to lose just not as quickly. The problem is around the 6 month mark most of us can eat more so the weightloss slows. You can do it. It will just take more work and discipline than the first 6 months. -
I knew it would happen, but I wasn't expecting this! I might be bald soon!

My hair fell out like crazy from month 4 to month 9 and has just finally stopped. It sucks but its worth it and I have lots of new growth. -
Pregnant - and fallen off the wagon
Crystal Woods replied to Sleevedmom2be's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If I was in your shoes I would start planning what i am going to eat the day before. I also weigh daily and I don't flip out if the scale fluctuates some but I feel it keeps me focused on my health if I start my day that weigh and I can't avoid or convince myself I am not gaining if the scale keeps creeping up. Don't panic yet bc 18/19 pounds isn't that big of a deal but its much harder to control your eating the last half of the pregnancy so it's great that you are catching yourself now. -
This hits close to home for me... I abstained from all carbonation for 8 months post surgery and lost 108 pounds. I started drinking coke again (my weakness) a couple weeks ago. I have not gained but I also have not lost any more. I weigh 120 and my goal is 110. I have noticed when I drink soda I can eat more. I quit drinking soda a few days ago and made it my New Years resolution to avoid it. I have lost 1 pound since then. I have worked too hard to get the weight off and I won't let anything make me fat again. :-)

My personal journey...I think that this is harder for me then I realized.
Crystal Woods replied to Sarah24's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I use myfitnesspal to track my food and exercise. That said I have lost 108 pounds since my surgery (03/01/12). My hair finally stopped falling out this month. I do not drink any protein shakes or shots bc they are high calorie and most doctors recommend you get your protein from your food once you are able to eat solids again. I eat 2 multi vitamins a day and my blood work is normal. I hope this helps. -

Looking for inspiration while i heal my leak! Photos?
Crystal Woods replied to Sannah's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's funny that you say that bc I look now how I always looked growing up until I got pregnant at 19, then again at 20, but still was only about 40 pounds overweight until I had my son and dilated cardiomyopathy in 2009 and the swelled up like a balloon. I am not pregnant in that first picture but everyone thinks I am. It's great to look like me again. -

I have lost 108 pounds. I was flexible to some extent when I was overweight but now I am extremely bendy! Sex is much better. Yes I have some lose skin but its still way better than the weight. I have the confidence to have sex with the lights on. My man can hold me in the air while we have sex now. Our sex life is so much better. -
I am not a chef. My fiancé is but he cooks very rich very fattening foods. I have looked and looked for good and easy recipes. The ones on the website emilybites.com meet all my criteria... (1) short common ingredients list (2) not time consuming (3) foods my kids, fiancé and I will eat (4) lists the nutrition facts. We have tried 4 of the recipes this week and loved all of them!!!

Crystal Woods replied to ayyejaycee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's exactly what mine looked like and it healed on its own just fine... My sister's looked very similar an age went to the doctor and they gave her an antibiotic and told her to wash it daily and it healed fine. Good Luck. -
