I've struggled w/ my weight my entire adult life... since high school, really. Getting heavier & heavier w/ each weight loss attempt/failure. Finally, w/ the encouragement of my doctor, much thought & research, I'm going through the Vertical Sleeve procedure on August 9th, 2012 & I couldn't be happier. Anxious, yes... cautious, absolutely... but really looking forward to getting on w/ my life!

My starting weight, walking into the bariatric clinic for the first time was 285 lbs, my highest weight ever. My current, pre post-op liquid protein diet is 272 lbs. Looking forward to starting my post-op diet tomorrow (7/30/12), & will update my stats as things progress!!
