√ Packed √ Showered, shaved, belly button scrubbed √ One-on-one time w/ kids & hubby √ Called my momma √ Ready for bed but too keyed up! Up @ 3:30am to get to hospital @ 5am, should I even bother going to bed?? ) Thank you, guys, for all of the encouragement & such... being part of this group, seeing how the first ones up are doing, has been really good for any anxiety or questions I might've had. I'm unbelievably calm tonight. Prayers for the 6 of us 8/9ers. ♥ -

August 9Th, Intro...

I can't believe I'm on day 10 of my 10 day pre-op diet & that I'll be sleeved tomorrow! liquid diet went really well, day 10 is a little different w/ just the Clear liquids, but so far so good. I'm thankful for my early morning check-in (5am!), I wouldn't want to wait longer w/ nothing in my belly! Been really enjoying hearing how well those who have been sleeved are doing... it's really encouraging & helps relieve any anxiety I might've otherwise had if I were doing this on my own. Also really enjoying participating in the FB group. -

Perfect goal for all of us, Southern Oregon! I, for one, have been spending time on here getting as prepared as I possibly can & am feeling pretty confident that I know what I'm doing, what to expect & what to avoid. Can't wait to get beyond surgery in a few days so I can begin this life changing journey! (of course 8 of 10 days of liquid protein is a good start!)
